Not meet expectation

Big room ample of space Good size bed

Not meet our expectations: 1. We requested for a ground floor room which was granted BUT we did not request for disabled room. The shower only has a curtain and water goes all over the bathroom/toilet. Too slippery, its an accident waiting to happen. Too messy. 2. Bathroom smell mouldy/damp. 3. There’s a wardrobe but no wardrobe rail or line and hanger to put your clothes. 4. There’s a good kitchen but theres no breakfast table to eat. Should we eat our meals sitting in the floor or plate on our lap? 5. No instruction given how to access the main building. There’s two card reader in the front. 6. Since there’s no reception, hard to sort out your complains. If we need another room, we have to walk again for 9minutes (600 m) one way with our luggage to get another key which was so inconvenient. We are Hamilton locale and we just want to experience a day out of home, but if we were given again these kind of accommodation, we better stay home.

Simple basic easy

Clean, large room, basic, kitchen was good. Staff changed towel everyday was nice. It does what it says on the tin, but nothing special. Somewhere to sleep, close to things, easy check in and out. Pretty cheap. It was a last min booking and suited our needs, i probably wouldn't stay again unless needed, but overall it was fine.

Very spacious

Dishwasher didn’t work. Rubbish bin hadn’t been emptied. The waiting around at check out to get my bond back while their staff went and checked my room, as Zeta is an unmanned facility. No ash trays for smokers in outdoor area Reception phone person was very rude because I wanted to check out at 8.55am and there was no staff on key drop off site.

Great location, helpful staff, very spacious room for the price.

We asked to change our room for less noise, which the staff were happy to do. Excellent location with a great pub cafe across the road. Supermarket across the road too, and petrol station next door.

If you have a connecting room, you can hear people talking next door. Check in is remote, so you have to go to another property to collect key.

A bit of a head scratcher

Close to a lot of things you could need. Restaurants, supermarkets, gas stations. Good underground parking to leave your car while you walk. Complimentary milk bottle (not the silly little pottles) and some Arnott's bikkies with the tea and coffee. Yum! Plus an actual newer smart tv so we could use all the latest apps.

As this hotel doesn't have a reception, you have to go to the hotel round the corner to check in. No big deal. They sting you with a $200 deposit (which was more than the cost of my room was). Upon entering the main entrance doors of the whole hotel (behind swipe carded doors) we were met with silly string over all the security cameras (bit concerning). Once inside the view was very lackluster and windows were dirty. I didn't chose a room with disability features but the bathroom was kitted out with hand rails and a seated shower with the drain on the floor and just a curtain around it. The mobility seat in the shower wouldn't go up which made for an awkward standing angle. Also the soaps in the bathroom were a little confusing, next to the basin was "Body Wash" I thought it was weird but shrugged it off, until I had to shower in the morning. Inside the shower (behind the curtain as there's no real "inside") was "hair wash" (would have preferred shampoo AND conditioner) and "hand soap". Lastly, all kitchen appliances are controlled by a master switch which no one tells you and there aren't any additional sockets. So I had to unplug the microwave to plug in the jug that was hidden in the drawer and then nothing. I assumed for the longest time the jug was broken until I discovered the "Microwave" switch over with all the other light and appliance switches. Overall this hotel experience left me with a lot of questions and puzzling moments.

People need to be aware that there is a bond to pay before you stay. This should be part of the booking online.

Was close to shops, restaurants…

The only thing that we didn’t like was going from one hotel to another hotel to pay for our stay. They need to advertise that a $100 bond is required before you stay, as we had already paid for the room online. Very misleading.. That was not acceptable and we will not be staying there again. The power point above the microwave was not working, so we had to put the jug else where to boil water. Very inconvenient. Spacious room, but we won’t be going back.

A spacious and well appointed place to stay. Parking was good, and close to supermarket and food options.

Unmanned Motels are fine but when you have noisy neighbours in the early morning there are fewer options to have it sorted.

Amazing value. Huge room with everything you needed. Great fully equipped kitchen and across the road from pack and save which was handy. No pool or fancy facilities but just what I needed to break up my journey.

It was a surprise to find there was no reception and to have to go to another motel in the rain to check in. It would have been nice to know in advance but maybe I missed something (?)

Very friendly staff member at the check in location, very big room with good shower and kitchen. Had almost all I needed. Easy undercover parking. Milk was provided. A nice set of pots and a pan, cutting board, and mixing bowl provided.

No cooking utensils at all; a sharp knife, bread knife, and a spatula would have been great. Info about the check in location being different than the hotel was hard to find or not available until after I made the booking; would have liked to know ahead of time. In my room (507), the fridge was very noisy and clattered through the night. No power point by the desk for keeping a laptop charged while working. Room service replaced towels/flannels/rubbish daily which was nice, but for environmental reasons I'd have liked to opt out of- do not disturb signs would be appreciated.

Good value comfortable stay near the centre of town

Huge room and bathroom. Heat pump warmed it up quickly on a cool evening. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. Close to the centre of Hamilton. Supermarket just over the road, and several eating options nearby. Covered parking. Stayed here several times and no reason not to come back.

Easy access

Smell of cat urine when I arrived smell was gone once I reported it. Could hear people next door quite loud 2 nights in a row. Stayed here a few times would rather have the room i had last time with a breakfast bar and not as loud from people next door.
