Sorry but never again

The bed was comfortable .

The main reception area had a disgusting smell. The whole site was rundown and looked neglected. The decor was very aged and curtains were hard to move.I left a note regarding the cookware which was disgusting and rusted out, a real health risk and the cooktop didn’t work at all, no aircon or fan made for an uncomfortably hot night.

It was ok.

The location was great.

The whole motel could do with some renovations and things being fixed. The futon bed had a big rip in it. The slide door to the bathroom needs new rollers and wheels.

The water is hot and the pressure is good. That's the only good thing about this place.

woken up by extreme noise during sleep. Rang the reception but didn't get any response.

The wall is peeling off. the bedding, especially the pillow sacked into a thin pancake . No staff at all at the reception.

It is all pretty much as you would expect.... it isn't modern... but it is fine.

The soap and the shampoo containers in the bathroom were empty. It is such a small thing to get right, but the lack of it makes you feel like the staff don't care at all.

I had my elderly mother with me, she was disappointed.

The location was fine.

The facilities of our room were very poor. This included no handrail in the shower, no plug for the basin, no mirror in the bathroom, a broken window lock in the bathroom, no window locks on other windows, no fry pan, no sharp knife, no dishcloth or teatowel, a broken chair in the lounge, only 2 chairs in a 3 person room.

Adequate Facility

The room was lage & clean.

No one to welcome us or show us to room. Had to ring a mobile number. Room smelt musty, not been open up to air. Some TV channels but no sky movies.

Dissapointed

Unit tidy, cheap accomodation at short notice

Parking is ridiculous, unable to get pass parked vechicles due to garden not maintain and driveway very skinny. Rooms very noisy, can hear everything from your neighbours.

You get what you pay for.

The lady at the front counter was very friendly. English isn't her first language but she really tried to speak clearly and make sure she was understood. We stayed during a long weekend and comparable rooms elsewhere were at least $60 a night more, when you consider that I was impressed with what we had.

The parking isn't the best- if other guests made sure they parked as far forward as possible it would be easier for everyone! The room has very basic facilities and could do with a revamp- the tv didn't have an aerial so was just there for decoration really. Again, you get what you pay for so we were happy with it.

Disappointed

Very out dated. Door to bedroom wouldn’t close. No plug for sink in kitchen to do dishes. Table wobbled , everything was very old. Shower curtain in bathroom just shouldn’t have been there, was very dirty/ mouldy a real health hazard. It was white so showed it all.For what I paid for room it should have been a palace, but it was instead a Hutt. I would never use this place again or recommend it to anybody.

The one like in the hotel is accessible to all market and location is easy to find it and the price is cheap.

I dont like on the hotel is, no receptionist when we arrive, we are there in the front of the hotel, keep calling the phone number posted in the front door but no one answering and we cant connect to the internet wifi

Basically, I paid for what I got.

I called both numbers on the door because reception was closed. No body picked up any of my calls. I had to go walking around the building for someone to talk to so I could get into my room. I didn't like that there was no folder with the wifi number on it. I didn't like that the spare room was cold and dark. I didn't like that the rooms were cold and there was no heat pump. The motel was very outdated and not appealing to look at on the outside and inside.

It’s location and that it accommodates a team.Able to sleep 5 in seperate beds.

Skip bins over flowing, graffiti on fences, light fixtures missing and electrical tape covering wires. Heaters broken. Curtains with holes, kitchen bench laminate peeling, no smoke detector. Dirty windows. Gardens over grown. The place lacked any TLC The hot water ran out after 4 short showers.

A visit from a friendly cat was the highlight of the stay

No WiFi- it was full so unable to use my work laptop The room wasn’t clean & the bedding I slept on tip I didn’t look clean. The pillows had a single case only no pillow protected which is yucky

Value for money - No TV etc and no 5 star but for a cheap motel and going to watch the All Blacks it was comfortable and $14 under to game

I would never recommend this place for anyone to stay at. Horrible!!

Nothing, very run down, couch chair was filthy, your wouldn’t let your cat sit on it. The damp smell was horrible and strong. The rooms amd the whole unit was cold, there were no heaters.

The manager on duty on the night of the 6 June 2025, I think her name is Grace was rude and unprofessional. The place is very run down, cold smelly, the fridge was dirty.

Perfect spot close to lots of shops. The room was tidy bed was lovely to sleep on. Loved that we had a deep bath. Lovely quiet place.

Great location. Bed comfy. On main road and close to bus routes, plenty of cafes within walking distance. CBD short bus/taxi ride away or is walkable.

Graffiti on furniture. No proper bathroom ventilation, just a hole in the wall. The room needs safety compliance checks. Very run rough state of affairs. Requires maintenance and an upgrade. I am surprise this hotel is still allowed to operate. Definitely not value for money.

Could have been much better as it is what could be an awesome welcoming complex in Hamilton East.

Closeness to our relative's home and visiting her. Clean.

No dishcloth to wipe up any spills and help with dishes. No flannels. Holes in the walls of bathroom and paint peeled off walls in the living area. If it has been cheaper I wouldn't have minded but $290 for one night was too high. Better if about $195.

Was horrible. Had to wait like 30 minutes to get the keys and didn't even apologise. Says rooms were noise proof and they weren't. Was expensive, have stayed at motels way less and much better service.

Nothing was good about this motel.

Apart from making me and other customer wait over half an hour to open the door to reception in the middle of a storm to check-in it was filthy rubbish everywhere the site had bad grounds maintenance l. I booked this motel for my friends to babysit my 1 month old baby if I had known it was that disgusting I would never of went to that motel. It used to be a beautiful clean nice motel about 6 or so years ago but obviously something between then and now has happened because now it's a disgrace. They only had a few rooms available and none that were on this site saying they had spa pools and things like that when they only had crummies one studio apartment rooms available is every other room was having major. Do not recommend 0 out of 5 stars
