I paid and booked the room for my daughter's 18th birthday and she really loved the personalized touch that they left- a birthday card and chocolate. It made her feel really special.

Convenient and close to the casino

We used the valet service to park our car and that worked well, although you can park for free nearby (you can see it from the restaurant/bar) we decided not to as we had bikes on the back of our car. The system worked well and the car was always there when we needed it.

The menu on-site was a bit limited. We would have eaten there more often had there been a couple of options per person we wanted to try.

Very short but nice stay after a day at Hobbiton, highly recommend the Novotel.

The room was really comfortable, breakfast and dinner was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially with the on street parking advice.

Don’t be fooled by the name.

It’s central location.

It was worn and the room had not been cleaned properly. The carpet was stretched in many places and should be replaced. Soft upholstery was very stained in places. The room was crowded with mismatched furniture. Don’t eat at the restaurant. The staff are the only highlight of this hotel.

Hotel location is superb. Room was clean. Quiet during the evening.

For the rating of the hotel, I was expecting (disposable) slippers in the room. Breakfast buffet is also quite limited. Hotel valet personnel could also be better in guiding me through the process as it was our first time.

Room was very nice, spacious and comfortable.

We hired an EV and picked the hotel mainly as it had EV charging. Both nights we asked for charging it was stopped at 80% (not a car setting as we have that turned off). It meant due to the driving we were doing both mornings we had to rush and charge at a nearby charger before heading off.

The beds were very comfortable, best nights sleep in a hotel. Quiet, tidy rooms. Dinner and breakfast at the in-house restaurant were delicious. Will definitely stay again.
