Home away from home.

We loved the animals. Fire place created a nice ambiance. Place is well equipped. Feels like a home away from home. Bed was comfortable. Pool table was good for a bit of fun also. Nice owner

We left and asked for a refund they agreed to pay but not come through yet.

Sheets were clean. the kitchen looked clean. Staff - the ladies tried hard to do what was necessary in very poor conditions. It looked lovely on the web but not a fair representation of the facilities.

Don't believe the reviews. The bathroom was in very poor condition holes in walls had been fixed but not painted over. The door to the outside had no proper lock and holes to the outside. The TV did not work and took 2 1/2 hrs to try and fix. The sitting room was dark and seats needed cleaning and one glass panel in the door to the outside was broken. The whole place smelt. The outside was the worst. A pond that had gone green, Rusty and terrible gym equipment didn't dare look at the spa as the steps were rusty. Chicken poo everywhere you walked, pigs, goats roaming around public area. The whole place needed a major make over. Health and safety issue for children.

Disappointing though the staff were lovely and obliging.

Didn’t have breakfast.

Space. Kitchen very small. Nowhere to put anything. Nowhere to hang clothes. Only mirror was in small bathroom. Bad reception for TV. We only wanted to see the news and this wasn’t possible. Reception for cell phone was also bad.

very warm and welcoming hosts, happily showed me through their home to meet the rescued farm animals. dog friendly in a peaceful setting. smart tv. amazing shower with excellent water pressure. kids having fun on the property.

no hot water would come to the kitchenette sink so had to do dishes in the bathroom sink

Cool and quiet spot just outside of Hamilton. It was nice and peaceful, just what we needed after staying in hotels. It reminded me of my grandparents old home which is a good thing! Had all the facilities. Air con in room, nice clean bathroom and shower, comfy bed and linen, a bar with drinks (self serve honestly system), pool table, games, coffee machine! And farm animals right outside.

Trampoline and kids playground needs a little love.

Comfy room, good bed and private bathroom. Outside water feature was green

The room itself was very good with external access. Comfortable and warm. There was a pool/water feature which was green and this detracted and should have been cleaned. The surroundings outside could have been tidier. Lawn could have been mown. I know it is a rural environment. I come from a farming back ground so understand this but just attention to detail required.
