Great location, very affordable for a family room and a lovely pub to spend the evening. Very friendly staff and a comfortable room with everything you need. Plenty of tea/coffee and toiletries in the room and a really good powerful shower.
Decoration is quite old (but this didn’t matter to us).

We could come and go as we pleased with the separate staircase to the rooms.
Our bathroom was separate from our bedroom. Was still lovely.

Everybody was extremely welcoming, and the bed was really comfy. The rooms could do with a little updating, but for the price, you really can’t go wrong. The shower was hot and powerful, and I had a really good night’s sleep The steakhouse was an added bonus. Absolutely 10 out of 10 on the food side. Would definitely stay again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The only thing I found difficult was how hot the room was, and unfortunately there wasn’t a fan available. That said, we were staying during a heatwave, so I don’t think that’s necessarily the hotel’s fault. You definitely get what you pay for, and personally, I found this to be one of the better budget hotels I’ve stayed in. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff and restaurant was excellent
Rooms were in need of decorating. No cupboard to hang clothes , many small issues .
