The room was extremely unclean, with heavy dust under the bed and around the furniture. The bathrooms were poorly cleaned and unacceptable. The room was overcrowded with broken furniture frames and unused paintings left lying around. There was no air conditioning in the property, and the only fan provided was not working, making the room uncomfortable. Additionally, the iron was not functioning. Overall, the condition of the room was unacceptable.

Great location where we wanted to stay. Excellent scenic view of downtown Auckland. Lots of bedrooms (5) and towels provided. Large living room. Clean.

Excessive gaudy decorations everywhere. Very cheap kitchen knives and cooking supplies-- whould provide sharp knives and quality pans. No broom. During summer -- no AC and only 1 fan provided. Had to bring our own knives and cooking supplies from a friend's house because knives are all dull and old.

House was spacious, was abit dusty in places, bathroom vents etc, beds, some sheets had stains. Was brown cockroach in bedroom upstairs and lounge kitchen area, only 2 we saw On arrival the home owners were there, still cleaning at 3pm and 20 minutes after, which was upsetting because we just needed to get the 10 of us out the cars and inside, this was rectified as the owners gave us till 12 noon to vacate property.

Lovely big property for a group of friends, from out of town, catching up. Really comfy beds and great having 3 bathrooms.

A beautiful house in a wonderful location. The suburb is quiet, safe, and an easy drive into Auckland CBD. Helen is a lovely host and went out of her way to make our stay a pleasant one. I would highly recommend this house to any traveling family.

The property is very tired and bit been looked after well. Lighting fixtures hanging from ceiling and broken on walls. Rips in couches and many of the couches broken and propped up by bits of timber. Dirty sock found under a bed. Bathroom cupboards rotting and peeling off. Glass panel in kitchen sliding out of frame which was so dangerous. There were used rubbish bags strewn throughout the garden. It felt generally quite unclean. There was also no information to indicate we needed to bring basics like rubbish bags, dishwashing tables, sugar.

There was no aircon not that we knew of. A few broken furniture when we walked in. A Tv downstairs would be nice too!! But we weren’t a fussy family so other then that loved it!

Nice house but would NOT book it again.

We felt that house was very spacious with sufficient facilities for my family and I. The location was suitable for our initial reason for booking. Central to shops and close to Trusts Arena.

I had initially booked this venue for my 4 nieces basketball tournament but due to covid it was rescheduled several times and the owners of this property declined a refund so we went ahead with the booking. We arrived 30mins earlier than expected and the key wasn't in the lockbox. Contacted the owner several times then got a reply that she was on her way there and if we could come back in 30mins maybe an hour so she could bring the key and vacuum the house. I agreed but as I am unfamiliar with the area we stayed nearby. We were able to check-in about an hour later. Opening the door was a task and a half not the easiest and did not get better as days progressed. The bathroom sink upstairs was leaking which caused an accident by the way. The rubbish wheelie bin was full so we had nowhere to put our rubbish. The garden had not been maintained. The sofas were broken. The data projector screen was gone so you couldn't use the projector downstairs. Cigarette butts were left in the ashtray. One toilet roll in each toilet. We were unable to find a working vacuum but did our best. The house had a pillow that kept shedding making a mess. We did however manage to wash their towels but the dryer did not work.

Perfect place for a large grouo

5 bedroom home and with lots of space and great city views, very cozy with heating. Host very easy to deal with. Thank you Helen for having us.

Loved the home design, plenty of rooms and beds and bathrooms to go around for family trip plannings.

Drive way was a little small ,Kitchen cupboards were very sticky and not soo clean, a few bug roaches crawling around on the walls. We did find empty water bottles lying around and some confetti so wasnt the best place for my toddle.

Sea side view. Sky tower view. Luxury furniture. Very big kitchen and dinning area with top brand tea and coffee. Free Wi-Fi. Toys for my toddler to play with. Plenty space. Easy close access to shower and toilet. Close to beach. Close to shops eg take aways, library, dairy and supermarket ect.

Could do with some milk for hot drinks and rubbish bags for junk as what you would normally see at a accommodation. Also if you want privacy then you will need to book the whole house otherwise lounge and kitchen area is shared with other guess.

Excellent stay

We read the reviews on here prior to booking and were a bit reluctant because of them but it was the best property for what we needed. The property is fantastic! It has 4 bedrooms downstairs , each with a double bed and a single, two bathrooms and a living area . Upstairs has another room with a double and a single bed , ensuite, lounge , dining and kitchen. There is adequate facilities, all in working order. The house is in a very very quiet neighbourhood so the owner is quite right to say no parties etc. We were really happy we booked this property and would certainly stay again.

It would benefit from a booklet about the house , how to use the projector, what to do with rubbish etc just to help guests out.

Beautiful house and view, loved having breakfast on the balcony looking out at the sea and city . My family and I enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the toys and games that were provided and the theatre room. Very spacious and close to the shops, restaurants etc. Overall I recommend this home to all Thank you 🏡💕

Just terrible and upsetting, we dont expect to pay over $2100 for 3 nights and have to clean.

Location, view, size of property

1. On arrival at 5pm to check in, there was no key left out and we had to wait over an hour for the owners to arrive. We weren’t expected and owners asked us to cancel the booking and go elsewhere. 2. The house was filthy disgustingly dirty from previous guests and wasn’t cleaned from previous guests. 3. The owners were here from about 6.15pm - 9pm cleaning the kitchen. 4. We did about 3 hours cleaning 6.15pm - 9pm doing the following, to get the house ready; Cleaned all 3 bathrooms, Made all beds up, Vacuumed the whole house, Tidied the house. 5. Towels were stained and 1 was dirty. 6. No instructions on how to use the filthy uncleaned oven and had to wait again for the owner to come and get the oven going. Told us “we don’t use the oven”. Then the oven took 5 hours to get to temperature and didn’t work properly, we had to keep moving the food around to be cooked properly. 7. Broken bathroom door handle. 8. Only left 3 toilet paper rolls in each of two bathrooms for 16 people for 4 days. Then when owners rung about it, we were told “ to go buy our own”. 9. One soap dispenser for 3 bathrooms and that one didn’t work. 10. Cockroaches inside bedroom. 11. Property advertised 2 x sofa beds in both living rooms. This was not so. They were regular sofas for short people, not even sofa beds.
