From the welcome glass of refreshment to the delicious cooked breakfast, this querky little guest house and art hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It will be our new 'home away from home' whenever we're in Auckland.

Colourful, arty hotel with bags of character, but it also felt welcoming and homely. We had a lovely room with a terrace and everything we could need. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the delicious breakfasts. Although on a quiet street the main road with lots of bars and restaurants was within walking distance, and it was easy to get the bus into the city for sightseeing and ferries etc.
That we couldn't stay longer!

Well located
I expected more from something that bills itself as an art hotel - not even close. And anyone that starts vacuuming when the only guest is in the common space is just not aware
