Location was great, room was nice and clean
Didn’t service the room each day, we were there for 4 nights and got serviced once. Feel they should have at least provided clean towels

The location was perfect for us. Parking the car next door was easy. We could walk to everywhere we needed. The room size was good, very clean & super comfortable. Check in/out process was easy too. We had breakfast in the “Tuck Shop” next door which was lovely

Wynyard Quarter location brilliant, quiet, but only 10-15min stroll to most things.

The location was ideal for us attending the Wooden Boat Festival 5 minutes walk away. It is very handy to a number of quality cafes, restaurants and a small supermarket. It's also an easy walk to the ferry terminals, city shops and the train station, providing easy transport to (for example) Newmarket. Parking is right next door and once the car is parked we don't need to take it out until we leave.
I made this booking, as I always do, so it was disappointing to find the welcome letter addressed to my husband. It comes across as dismissive of me as a female. Several surfaces were very dusty and obviously hadn't been wiped in a while. The bed was poorly made in that one side of the bottom sheet was tucked in and the other side too short to tuck in. We had to remake the bed ourselves to avoid another night of the sheet tangling around us. This has not been our experience in the past so we know they can do much better.
