We loved the comfy bed, the sauna and spa, the location was great. There were no bed bugs like the quadrant. The doors and windows were not double glazed, which meant for a noisy sleep on a Saturday night on Level 3. Recommend to request a high floor.

This was our second time staying at the Chancellor on Hobson. We had family visiting from overseas and recommended they book this hotel — and we booked a separate room for ourselves in the same building.
The staff were friendly, and the 1‑bedroom suite we had this time was cosy and clean, with a different layout from our last stay — and we actually preferred this setup. We used the spa pool and it was also nice and clean, which made for a relaxing experience.
We tried to book a carpark space last minute, but unfortunately it was fully booked for the night. Luckily, there’s a *** right next door, and the price was about the same as the hotel’s parking.
Once again, great value for money and an excellent location.
We’ll definitely be staying here again in the future.

We recently stayed at the Chancellor on Hobson and had a great experience. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made check‑in and the overall stay feel effortless. Our room and the facilities were clean, well maintained, and comfortable.
There was a notice online about the hotel undergoing renovations, but we barely noticed any disturbance or noise during our stay — everything felt quiet and relaxed.
The location is fantastic, with easy access to the city and nearby attractions, and overall it offered great value for money.
We will definitely stay here again in the future.
