Rooms were very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The seating was comfortable with a good work space and eating area.

The floor tiles in the bathroom were loose and water from the shower kept running in there. Wifi was not good at all.

Good location. Clean comfortable bed.

Phone didn't work. TV didn't work. Food and dirt down the settee. Reception didn't do what they told me they would. No restaurant or cafe/bar on site.

Good stay for a good price

It was a cheaper option but it was quite ok. The room has everything washing machine a fridge microwave and had a reasonable size living room. Located at the top end of the city and close enough to shops and restaurants.

Room was on bottom floor right next to exit entry doors. Had not been cleaned properly stains on carpet, towels, syringes and rubbish scattered outside room,

Receptionist was friendly and swapped our room out - for another room where at least the air conditioning worked. Bed was comfortable - nice clean linen. The location was good.

The air conditioning was broken, the shower leaked, snack wrapper and crumbs left on sill behind curtain. Kitchen sink mixer loose and wobbly. No oven equipment, Minimal kitchen equipment. Stale room smell. No parking for guests. Lack of maintenance obvious - tired and shabby rooms.

The washing machine door after itr had finished would not open. Called Reception but no one came. Managed to open it in the end by prying it open

Staff were great, room was dated and needed attention

Room was clean and tidy, staff were very receptive. Bed was excellent.

There was no Do not disturb sign in my room to put on the door so the cleaning staff came into the room when i was asleep. TV did not work and when they replaced it i could only use Youtube as it wanted me to put my email address onto it. There was a leak in the roof from a crack that looked like it had been there for a while and when i advised them they didn't seem to worried about it. The couch was very uncomfortable. Oven did not work??

Withholding refund

Well I am still fighting for my damage deposit to be returned to me 5 and a half weeks after I have checked out of the property. I have asked for calls from the manager and the general manager which have not happened. I have been on the phone this morning (19/01 11.16am) and was told that they would be phoning the accounts team for an update on my refund and I would get a call back today. I phoned this afternoon (19/01 16.16pm) and been told that no-one in accounts has been phoned. I have been consistently ignored and lied to over this to the point where I now physically cannot eat due to them withholding my money. In addition the oven was broken until 45 minutes before I checked out on the 12th December I booked a fully serviced apartment so that I could save money and cook my own food which I was unable to do so. I have withheld leaving a review until now but I feel I do not have any other options regarding this situation

Comfortable rooms and enjoyable stay in a very central and convenient location.

We checked in and found we had been upgraded to an extra large room with two bedrooms which was amazing. Facilities awesome, even 3 packets of laundry powder for the provided washing machine. Really excellent. Hotel was really central, and even though they had run out of parking, provided directions to the two nearest parking areas which were very close by.

This hotel met my needs, though its facilities were not the newest ones (the evelator was very slow, for example). But they have a laundry machine, which was so handy! The beds were massive and super comfy. The kitchen appliances worked pretty well, and so did the WiFi.

Very convenient for groups.

- Very convenient for us. The location is excellent and close to our venue at the Grand Millennium. We only wish there was a direct way to exit the hotel and cross over to the Grand Millennium Hotel. - We loved having the washing machine in the room — it was especially helpful for us as we will be travelling from Auckland to Sydney and Brisbane, then back to Auckland before returning home to Tonga.

Great central city location but hotel a little untidy and in need of some TLC.

Hotel looking tired, our room was also run down. Large cracked external window in our room, vinyl cracked. No Tv in the room when it was advertised that every room had one. No air conditioning in our room during our very warm humid stay in the city. House keeping also let us down with only 1 towel for 2 guests. There seemed to be very little attention to detail at this hotel.

We waited 3 hours for group prebooked rooms to be checked in. Check in was 3pm We were given all rooms at 6pm. We were waiting outside of hotel, not even in the lounge as there was another group in the lounge. Our entire activities was ruined and cancelled as we couldn’t get checked in- nowhere to put our luggages. We were refunded 1 room, not good enough.

Great location, real shame about the quality of the apartments.

The location was great. It was quiet. The staff were helpful. Nice showers.

Between our party we had 3 apartments. In every apartment there were things that didn’t work. Aircon / washing machine/ tv/ fridge. It’s a real shame - the apartments are very dated and badly need to be refurbished.

Location wasn’t too far from CBD. Price was cheap. Was reasonably clean.

You do get what you pay for. The place could do with a good tidy up. Broken tiles in the bathroom, patched holes in the wall. Fairly tired mattresses.

Great appart hotel, very good value for money

Great appartment hotel, big/separate bedrooms, with an open plan kitchen and living room. I appreciated that the staff left some coffee, tea, sugar, pepper, creamers. Also, there is a washing machine which is super convenient.
