This hotel met my needs, though its facilities were not the newest ones (the evelator was very slow, for example). But they have a laundry machine, which was so handy! The beds were massive and super comfy. The kitchen appliances worked pretty well, and so did the WiFi.

Very convenient for groups.

- Very convenient for us. The location is excellent and close to our venue at the Grand Millennium. We only wish there was a direct way to exit the hotel and cross over to the Grand Millennium Hotel. - We loved having the washing machine in the room — it was especially helpful for us as we will be travelling from Auckland to Sydney and Brisbane, then back to Auckland before returning home to Tonga.

Great central city location but hotel a little untidy and in need of some TLC.

Central city location.

Hotel looking tired, our room was also run down. Large cracked external window in our room, vinyl cracked. No Tv in the room when it was advertised that every room had one. No air conditioning in our room during our very warm humid stay in the city. House keeping also let us down with only 1 towel for 2 guests. There seemed to be very little attention to detail at this hotel.

We waited 3 hours for group prebooked rooms to be checked in. Check in was 3pm We were given all rooms at 6pm. We were waiting outside of hotel, not even in the lounge as there was another group in the lounge. Our entire activities was ruined and cancelled as we couldn’t get checked in- nowhere to put our luggages. We were refunded 1 room, not good enough.

Great location, real shame about the quality of the apartments.

The location was great. It was quiet. The staff were helpful. Nice showers.

Between our party we had 3 apartments. In every apartment there were things that didn’t work. Aircon / washing machine/ tv/ fridge. It’s a real shame - the apartments are very dated and badly need to be refurbished.

Location wasn’t too far from CBD. Price was cheap. Was reasonably clean.

You do get what you pay for. The place could do with a good tidy up. Broken tiles in the bathroom, patched holes in the wall. Fairly tired mattresses.

Great appartment hotel, big/separate bedrooms, with an open plan kitchen and living room. I appreciated that the staff left some coffee, tea, sugar, pepper, creamers. Also, there is a washing machine which is super convenient.

The street is not the safiest of Auckland...

It was a much needed break and despite the unclean room it was a fantastic stay,

Its really close to the center of auckland city

The room was abit dirty. There were black marks on the headboard, handprints on the walls and windows, hair on the walls and ceiling of the bathroom and all the door/ cuppboard handles were filthy, even the desk chair had dried white stains dribbled down the back. Even the mirror in the bathroom had marks down it like it hadn't been wiped. Also it was freezing and the bed had two sheets and the world's thinnest duvet inner and no extra blankets. I would probably stay again but I'd bring my own cleaning supplies and extra blanket.

Considering the price it was adequate.

Location was fine, short distance to sky tower. The apartment was good size, kitchen clean and with basic appliances. Comfortable bed. Apartment was at the back of the building, so it was quite.

The 2 bedroom apartment definitely is not 4 stars as it is rated on the website. Very simple and tatty furniture, TV not working, carpet stained, the shower stained and very moody, sink not draining properly.

I loved staying here! It was centrally located but also nice and quiet. There’s everything you need for a longer stay. Staff were friendly, leaving luggage after checkout was easy. This would be my first choice if I’m ever back in Auckland!

Just fyi they didn’t make the bed/change the sheets at all during my weeklong stay, even when I put up the “service room” sign. Not a priority for me but could be for others

Great location, comfy beds and well-equipped rooms. Loved the balcony, could see the sky tower.

There was a horrendous smell in all the corridors getting to your room. It was quite funny in the end, we would hold our breath and run. There was room spray type smell trying to mask it but it was quite bad. We let staff know but nothing happened.

I would not stay there again nor recommend this place to others.

Room checks with no prior list given to me of damage done by others. Took a bond by photocopying my debit card. I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR THE WHOLE 5-DAY STAY IN ADVANCE. This practice did not make me feel welcome. I have traveled the whole world and never had this experience.

Nothing really it's just a bit rundown and shabby. The pictures are much more bright and colourful than my room was. Beds are very soft which for me hurt my back but that's all personal preference
