Location across from Smales Farm was very convenient and close to Milford and Takapuna for the shops and the beaches. Extremely helpful front desk staff. Very clean. Daily housekeeping. Very well equipped esp having washing machine and dryer.

Charge for parking but there’s plenty of free parking down the side street. Couldn’t regulate the air con. Too stuffy or too cold. In retrospect we should have asked for assistance instead of turning it off and on.

I feel Quest has it right the quality of the rooms and fixtures were excellent Having travelled to well over 60 countries I feel this was up there as far as what is required in a room The fittings and quality of the rooms were superb for the price The cleaners had it sorted and professional with numerous staff quickly working through the rooms & hallway Was handy to cafes but also to Takapuna where we had a wedding to stand

Maybe a soft pillow would work as well as a hard one

John and Katie on reception were so friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. They provided me with invaluable advice about traffic, local restaurants and even a local post office and always offered to help me with my bags.

A superb stay in a superb location

The rooms were really well appointed. The films available all for free were extraordinary. Not that we were there to watch films but it was a really incredible thing to have such a selection when we did want a little unwind

At times you could smell a toilet smell coming through the drain outlet/air vent in the bathroom. My husband is a plumber. He said something wasn’t quite balanced in the system. Not sure what you would call it. Does need attention.

Beware, this business will unethically place more than one hold on your account, and not respond to emails

Location, cleanliness

Property placed two holds on my account for the one stay. I have contacted them to release the second hold after the full cleared amount had been paid. They simply do not reply and a week later still have a hold on my account. Totally unacceptable and hence the rating if 1. Perhaps this rating may result in them taking notice.

Over all satisfactory and no difficulties apart from car parking as mentioned above.

I think the access to parking should be improved by putting the card reader on a bracket so you do not need to get out of the car to open the gate.

Another Great Quest Hotel

We had the 2 bedroom apartment. It was well equipped, spacious, and extremely comfortable and very clean. Great shower. TV in every room. I found myself wanting to spend more time at the hotel than being at the event we were in Auckland for.

Its hard to get street parking. There were road works which made parking spaces sparse. I was grateful I had the foresight to book a car park in their basement parking.
