This review is a little late, but that does not reflect how we feel about our stay. It was wonderful! You have the whole place to yourself (you don’t have to share with other guests, that is) which basically means you have your bedroom with en suite bathroom ánd a living room! You do share the rooms with a couple of teddy bears though, which we found delightful. Breakfast is simple but very good and Helen and Roy are the greatest hosts and interesting people - we really enjoyed our chats and as we fell deeply in love with New Zealand, we will be back!

The beautifully restored home and garden are perfection. Heather and Roy have taken hospitality to a new level. Exploring the wonderful array of decor, including Heather's handmade teddies and other creatures, is a delight. Every need or wish has been considered. Everything was wonderful.

Exceptional, friendly service. An immaculate property with a unique collection of art and artefacts and interesting technology. Nothing is left to chance, every possible thing is provided. Heather and Roy were exemplary hosts.
