The building is clean, modern and in excellent repair. The book in process was swift with very friendly staff. The bedroom was well appointed, very clean and the bathroom had a good supply of toiletries. There was hot drink making facilities in the room.

Unfortunately, the bar meal was served tepid. I reported this to the manager and she agreed to refund the cost of the meal. There was a central-heating problem in the room which became apparent when we retired for bed. It was a constant knocking from the pipework which continued throughout the night and made it difficult to get a sound night's sleep.

Overall, it was a great stay

The room was very clean with all the essentials available and the shower experience was exceptional.

The only downside was it was really cold in the evenings and the radiator turned up to maximum heat was not warm enough to heat the room.

Nice practical option, need to provide more service for the money

Super organized Spacious Well run

Parking is operated by an independent operator and they fined me by mistake . Took too much time and effort to object , hotel was reluctant to help at first, but then after serious complaints they sorted it. Got extra admin fees from a car rental company on top . Ridiculous. Shouldn’t be an issue in the first place.

Warwick conferences is excellent, quiet environment with friendly staff.

Reception staff were excellent, friendly and directed us to an entrance closer to our room. The room was quite large, clean with additional items - iron and ironing board and a fan.

couldn't get the towel rail to work but when we asked we were offered fresh towels if required.

Gorgeous hotel with great amenities

This beautiful facility is quiet and located near the central of campus at Warwick University. Easy walk to the Warwick Arts Center and its movie theatre. Looking forward to visiting again!

Good stay in a great location

Clean spacious room with amenities provided. Comfortable bed. Free parking on-site was a bonus. Room service food was good and not overpriced. Free gym pass also.

Shower didn't have a door causing water to exit onto the floor. Chair uncomfortable for long periods of working causing back stiffness. After 5 days, breakfast was repetitive and identical each day. Occasionally certain breakfast items would run low and were not topped up.

Totally brilliant place to stay

After watching my son play in a pool competition on Saturday I returned to scarman and had the steak chips with extra salad delivered to my room & yet again it was superb. I do hope I can make it next year for much of the same.

Excellent stay, wish we’d stayed longer!

The location was great in that it was a beautiful garden setting so ideal for a break from travelling. The facilities were great and practical eg help yourself to tea and coffee, cold water, fruit. The doors opened automatically which is a blessing with suitcases. The breakfast was exceptional and I am fussy when it comes to breakfast! I had a delicious oatmeal porridge. With a good choice of nuts and seeds and fruit to add to it. I had egg mushrooms sausage etc. Again a great variety to choose from. Coffee was from a machine but very tasty, so I think they used good quality beans. Parking very easy. An absolute pleasure and I wish we had stayed a few more nights.

One thing I thought was missing was a shelf or basket to put your shampoo and soaps etc onto in the shower cubicle. They were on the floor and I think this is inconvenient and a potential hazard.

Lovely

My two children attend Warwick so i do come up often. I like that the venus is on campus as my first year son is inb campus and my daughter in the oaks, so the venue is local. It will be nice to have some discount as regular.

Excellent place to stay when attending a conference at the university

Room was far better than I thought it was going to be. Was nice to have fan as one night was very warm. Having an iron and board was not expected. Room was very clean, I chose not to have it cleaned in between the 2 nights I stayed there. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices and plenty of it.

Quiet location, modern comfortable room

Really comfortable, modern and quiet room, with lots of onsite parking. Very convenient for visiting Kenilworth, Warwick and Stratford. On-site bar with free tea and coffee was also a great addition, and very friendly staff on reception that explained everywhere to go on campus.

It was great - I will be back

Everything was superb except for the cleanliness of the bathroom floor - please see below for details.

I stayed in the room 357. The bathroom floor needs deep cleaning. You can see the dark circles of the residual dirt grained into the tails in the frequently used areas. It is a bit off putting especially when you use the facility barefoot at night . The rest was spotless and luxurious so it is a shame to see this little issue letting you down.

Great biscuits with good selection of hot drinks. Clean and spacious bathroom with flattering mirror. Huge bed, pleasant decor and countryside view.

Small thing - bedroom doors slam shut which makes a bit of noise early morning.
