Everything is brand new. Lots of parking space.

It is very secure and near restaurants
It's close to an old hotel which is not open and there's a warning about thieves around the un used hotel. The Coventry Hill hotel is not operational but we slept in a lodge next to it.

Room and the bathroom were clean
Not worth for money.
No breakfast available even to buy separately. Had to order via uber which costed me a lot

There was no breakfast, and I thought I was getting bed and breakfast, but everything was good
Would have liked to have been able to obtain food or an on site restaurant.

It was impeccably clean, particularly the bathroom.
The room was cold, the decor very dated, staff were seemed inexperienced/were unhelpful.

Room was clean and spacious! Can’t fault the room it self aside from a fault with shower.
Staff were fab though, I feel for them working in such an embarrassing place.
Where do I start… it looks like Chernobyl outside, the car park is terrifying. Think resident evil movie after the cities become abandoned, scary!
The hotel reception was like a time warp to the 70s, really disconcerting and smelt that way too.
We were put into the lodge, which in truth it looks like one of those portacabin classes we had at school. The whole thing shuddered as people moved around and flashing lights in corridor didn’t help.
Unfortunately the shower was blocked so we had to shower in stages, get out, sit 10 mins with shampoo or soap on and then go back in when it drained. As ever quickly it was running out into the bathroom. With two of us, arriving at 11.30pm, that meant showering for both of us took till about 12.30am!

Nice clean room , drink facilities lovely shower
Staff were good
Room was tiny wasn't expecting so small with the pictures shown
Unable.to get change of sheets for second night due to no housekeeping

The room I was allocated was all I needed and very clean
The reception was what I would expect and looked inviting ,reception staff were very polite and accommodating
The plus was that it was only 10mins from an event I attended
On arriving I thought I had arrived at a derelict site as it was so unkempt. I had booked as the info stated there would be breakfast available for extra cost and that evening meals would be available when there was none and only the reception and cleaning staff and we had to find alternatives.
I did hear that it had been used for other purposes and had then been shut down.

The room is clean and okay, but it has a thin wall that you can hear everything from the next room to the outside.
Privacy is important, especially when you are on a call with someone.

The Night staff who quietly recieved and supported, not a problem with it at all.
The hotel is under restructuring plan, the main hotel is closed and quarters built near the hotel to accomdate guests
Booking.com should have taken the responsibilty about this while selling stating the real pictures not the one showing.
Staff was good but it was not really what the pictures are showing in booking.com
I demand compensation for this surprise stay, which as a family was the problem to adjust during our long journey of 24 hours , so tired and struggling to sort out things in small room. we came at time of 11:00 pm where there was no way for us to go back to check with another hotel.

The room was clean, cosy and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and shower was nice and hot. Tubes of liquid soaps and lotions were provided. TV was good and the kettle and mugs were welcome
Pillows were a bit hard.
Some beverages were provided but I always take my own teabags and fresh milk.

Main hotel under renovation- this wasn’t mentioned when booking the hotel. They cancelled breakfast due to this but still charged us the full rate of the room which included breakfast

Due to the main hotel being renovated there was no breakfast available or lounge area to relax in.

4.0 / 10.0
Considering the main hotel situation the rooms we were put into were mixed. Mine was brand new kitted out . Others were some issues on cleanliness and facilities
This is clearly appeared to be an asylum hotel but was told hotel was under renovation. Drive up to hotel appeared to look run down from outside . Unsettling .

Nothing
Not being told the hotel was for Asylums. I never complain I understand everyone needs help but walking to a locked hotel door with a security guard, a smell I can’t even describe, numerous men all sat in the reception talking loud on their phones. I waited in my room until I could drive home as I felt so uneasy staying there.

Excellent value for money, all amenities in the room, excellent room condition, comfortable bed, TV, kettle, unsuited, would definitely go again. Parking available.
5.0 / 10.0
I like that we were in a separate building, away from the asylum seekers, which seemed to be quite new which was evident from the smells of paint upon entering the building and the protective sticker on the carpet trim.
I didn’t like being stopped by security before entering reception to check in but understand that they are there to protect the asylum seekers
7.0 / 10.0
Room and bathroom was very clean which is wonderful.
What was the best, in fact excellent, was that the person at the reception when we checked in at night , around 10 pm or so, kindly gave us two bottles of cold water. I felt that it was a pleasantly welcoming gesture, when I said we needed drinking water.
Mattress, bedding was comfortable, towels were nice and clean
Bit of room for improvement was:
No soap for the bathrooom wash basin area, had to squeeze out liquid soap from soap dispenser next to bath tub.
However, the pillow could have been a bit softer.
Room was a bit hot , room 0521 on fifth floor, I can understand the windows could not be opened due to customer safety. Although the window was wall to wall all across only about an inch or two could be opened, hence the room at night got too hot. Couldn't sleep well after a long journey and a busy day in Warrick.
2.0 / 10.0
Clean and tidy but not welcoming.
Main lobby doors were only opened from security guard inside. I was worried about leaving in case I couldn't get back inside. Only 1 of the 3 lifts was functioning.
The hotel seems to be housing for a large immigrant population, who were fine, but I would not have paid £139 per night if I'd known.I think I was the only paying guest.

Very loud didn’t sleep at all.

No bar, no vending machine accepting credit card, no possibility to even get a bottle of water at arrival, or candy bar. Travelling for hours from abroad I was hungry and thirsty. Good for for keeping the weight at least :)
Get the vending machine to accept credit card (not always foreign guests have UK coins in their pocket and if they cant provide it in the reception...) Not impressed. But the staff was very nice, really.
8.0 / 10.0
Wifi, staff and location
Slightly concerned about other residents, clearly not on business or vacation
2.0 / 10.0
The hotel seemed so run down and lots of shady characters hanging about
1.0 / 10.0
The hotel is used as accommodation for asylum seekers and we were not informed of this before travelling. As two ladies travelling alone we did not feel safe so did not stay at the hotel and had to find another hotel at very short notice at 9.30pm. Thankfully the staff were very helpful and told us another hotel to try.
