Bedrooms and bathrooms was dirty there was bugs in mine. Can hear people above me and next door. Can hear people go up and down stairs all night so no sleep. Then 9:30 am domestic staff came banging on the door to clean but checkouts at 11 am. Even after saying no. Opened the door with their key

Unclean, overpriced food and poor customer service

Upon arrival, there was a lovely woman on the reception desk who was incredibly chatty and helpful. The room was spacious and warm

The food options were limited and overly priced- one of the worst steaks I've ever had for £27 The room was grubby, particularly the carpet The travel cot provided was not fit for purpose- the "mattress" was a thin piece of wood There was womens jewellery on the floor that had clearly been left by someone- either previous guest or staff? The bed was uncomfortable, especially the pillows When we went to the pool, they didn't have any towels so we had to use our room towels Then as our towels were wet from swimming, we requested our room be serviced by putting the sign on the door as we left for the day- to come back to an unserviced room and our sign had been changed to do not disturb When I checked out I mentioned that the room wasn't clean when we arrived and there was jewellery on the floor and the receptionist just said thank you- I was shocked at the lack of apology and or shock on her face

Excellent quiet location. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast both excellent. We weren't happy with our room and were immediately moved to another without any fuss.

Brilliant hotel let down by bar service

The property is very nice and clean

The property is lovely and the room was clean and comfortable. We were at the property for a wedding where the organisation, food and venue were brilliant! The big let down was the bar service…. While the staff were friendly we had issues. several drinks on tap were not available in the function room and others not available at the other bar. Due to the combination of drinks we were drinking we had to leave the function room to get them but then the syrup mixers were not available for the spirit drinks at the other bar, so we had a choice of having to go to two different bars for our drinks for the best price and wasting loads of time or paying more for bottled mixers at the bar where the tap drinks were available. Some of the bar staff service was also questionable, very slow and at one point I was given a shorts glass to pour a bottle of cider in to despite pint glasses being available.

A bit of a disappointing stay

Car parking. Good sized room. Comfy bed. Check out isn't until 11. Free spa facilities until 1pm.

Light in room controls all lights and no ability to just put on bed side light. Fan in bathroom very very noisy. Sheet on bed wasn't put on properly so we had to remake the bed before getting in. Staff on reception were quite blunt and complained at how busy they were. Breakfast finishes at 9.30 which is quite early

A few tweaks but I'd stay again.

The hotel was pretty and quirky, slightly old fashioned but I liked it. I really like the spaciousness. There are so many places to sit and relax around the hotel restaurant, bar and lobbies. The sauna is pretty big as well as the steam room and pool. It has 2 private cubicles in the locker rooms too which is nice.

The bath plug in my room didn't work properly so the water wouldn't go down. The toilet flusher also didn't work. I only stayed for 1 night so I didn't get a chance to experience it fixed. The pool is big but not warm enough for me. It's a leisure pool so understandably it's 27°. The restaurant menu is quite limited, I preferred the cellar bar. Cocktails are also limited. But overall it's a nice place.

Lovely Venue, Paper thin Walls

The whole building is lovely, the rooms are well equipped and clean, the staff are all very helpful.

We could hear everything from the room next door, the shower, the conversation (not word for word but knew they were talking), and even the spoons going into the mugs when making a cup of tea. The TV kept buffering making it very difficult to watch, so we switched off

Good location and close to many landmarks and Warwick University. The Restaurant was a hit and the breakfast experience was way above average.

Rooms are not soundproof so be prepared to hear your neighbours talking and banging doors.

Ok but poor value for money

Public areas were well kept, and staff were very helpful.

The room wasn’t great. Uncomfortable mattress, old and needing refurbishment. No plugs by the bedside, tiny and inadequate electric heater for the room, and one switch to turn off all of the lights, which is ridiculous when that includes table lamps. It was expensive for the quality of the room.

Low quality hotel in need of maintenance and menu improvements

Nice bar area and restaurant.

Very limited food choices for vegan and gluten free. The electric car chargers did not work. My room was tucked in an attic like space. There was no hot water and the door to my room only locked if you slammed it hard (so the housekeeper showed me).

The room was a tiny lodge separate from building so you get a good soaking walking to the function room in your party dress! Impossible to sleep as you can hear your neighbours snore, trump & use toilet !

I stayed for 3 nights, room only. Nice spacious lodge style room.

Lovely big TV but the TV guide wasn't working so couldnt see what was on TV. Date and time was out and I wasnt allowed to change this so 8.00 am 9th November came up as 09.48 am 17th January so none of it worked. In the Bathroom the extractor fan wasnt working so it was like a Sauna after a shower. You had to pump the loo handle to make it work and it made a horrendous noise after filling. The plunger type sink plug needed major adjustment, if you ran the tap to get hot water the sink filled up even with the plunger plug fully open, I had to prise the plug out to empty the sink....not impressed. I reported all of this on Day 2 to Reception and they and Housekeeping said there was little they could do but would have a look. Second night nothing had been done. I was offered another room but for 1 night it wasn't worth moving everything. Given I paid £108.30 a night "room only"! I thought this was very poor and dare I say this would not happen in a Premier Inn, which would have been my second choice. Sounds like they need a 'can do' handyman.

Lovely hotel

It's not the fault of the property but the hotel is located on a dual carriageway. The noise is no issue but if you want to travel right out of the hotel you have to go about a mile and a half in the other direction first.
