Absolutely wonderful stay — a place full of character, charm and atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, I was completely enchanted by this hotel. Everything was spotless, the service was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location is simply beautiful. There is something very special about staying in a place that feels like it has so much history and soul. My room was incredibly cosy and comfortable, and the views from the window were magical — beautiful green meadows, cats wandering around, and a peaceful morning mist that made the whole place feel almost like a scene from a film. The living room was one of my favourite parts of the hotel. It was huge, with a magnificent fireplace and beautiful leather armchairs — the perfect place to sit down, relax and simply enjoy the atmosphere. The bathrooms are shared, but this was absolutely not an issue for me. They were exceptionally spacious, very clean and well maintained. What really made this stay special was the atmosphere. It is difficult to describe, but you can feel the character and history of the place everywhere. It feels authentic, peaceful and wonderfully old-fashioned in the best possible way. I honestly loved my stay here and would return without hesitation. A truly special place that I will remember for a long time. Highly recommended!

Its a beutiful Manor House, sorrounding farms give open spaces and lots of fresh air. The breakfast had alot of healthy options.

Though the bathroom was shared, it was very large, clean welcoming and had the option of bath or shower. Good quality shower gels provided.

The room was nice, spacious and clean. Regina was lovely, plenty of choices for the continental breakfast and the view from the patio was just gorgeous. Even though I booked a room without bathroom, I was very pleasantly surprised to find the shared bathroom realy chic, clean and spacious. It's THE BEST location if you want to relax and take in the beauty of nature. On top of this, there is a horse and a donkey on site - which you can visit and pet (p.s. bribing them with a cut apple will do the trick) and for me that was literally THE CHERRY on top of the cake!! I will definitely come back, I am in love with the place, the location, the animals, the host, EVERYTHING. Diana O. (Oxfordshire)

Lovely old building in need of TLC

Unfortunately I didn’t see Regina before I left but would have mentioned that the bed sheet had a number of holes in it. The room was draughty with rattling doors and windows but appreciate that it was an extremely windy night. With some investment this could be a beautiful hotel.
