Perfect for what I needed

Convenient for city transport ,Comfortable & friendly without spending a fortune .

The bed and sheets were very comfortable and clean . The breakfast was adequate and well cooked . The shower was adequate . The staff where helpful and friendly too. There will be a next time !

The Bar or evening food menu could have been a little more extensive , however i did not have to spend an arm and a leg though . Next time i will try the curry !

Mattress topper was poor. Bathroom smelt of sewage. Originally thought to be from the toilet however it was from the sink. It was not pleasant at all!

We loved the way all the staff made every effort to make sure our stay was pleasant.

Breakfast very good.

We were delighted to learn that you had some adjoining rooms and originally requested that on our booking but were told that both rooms only had double beds. We needed 3 beds minimum for our family. Surely it would be more sensible for adjoining rooms to have a double/twin combination to accommodate families with children. It would only necessitate swapping some furniture from a twin room to replace one double so no real expense.

Was decent value for the Coventry, but it is quite basic as you'd imagine.

Simple and without fuss. Everything in one place and functional rooms for the price. Staff were friendly at reception.

A little dingy in feel, but I arrived in the dark. I wasn't sure how to get in after walking from the station as the lights are not so bright outside. Little to talk of nearby snackwise. Buy near the station before you walk over there, if coming by train.

It was very central to the event we were going to. We didn’t have any snacks there or use the bar but liked the fact it was 24 hours on reception so someone would have been there to serve you.

There wasn’t a bin in the room, just a very tiny one in the bathroom.

It was in a brilliant location not far from the station. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was freezing and you could not turn up the thermostat. But the shower made up for me feeling cold as the water was hot and a very nice flow.

Profit first, customer second

I arrived slightly early and at 2:40pm I tried to check in. Even though the room was ready I was told I couldn’t check in until 3pm, unless I wanted to pay £15 for early check-in. I guess this hotel puts profit before common sense/customer service. Not a great welcome, which otherwise would have been a pleasant stay.

A pleasant place to stay for a short visit to Coventry.

Very friendly helpful staff, ordered taxis to friends from the hotel - no problem. The staff were very helpful describing how to get to the town centre etc - I had arrived in the dark. A good breakfast in a clean and well kept location. The ibis is very handy for the main railway station.

The modular bathroom is ageing and not practical. It smelled. The room was not clean, it felt totally unwelcoming, the bedding was acrylic. The huge empty parking was stupidly expensive.

Ok - expectations met.

It was a perfectly pleasant stay, staff were welcoming and the free magazines were a nice touch.

The bed was obviously a twin pushed together, so I ended up in the morning wedged between two single mattress toppers, which wasn`t uncomfortable but not exactly what I`d expected. Also, the girl eating crisps whilst on reception I thought was less than professional.
