I love places that have the little key boxes so I can leave my key there for later and not worry about loosing it whilst I am out. Also an ultra easy arrival and departure process
Nothing to dislike it was a great solution for what I needed

Location was easy to get to, text sent in advance advising of location and parking. Please note do take note of instruction detailing next to a Chinese restaurant as it is quite easy to miss otherwise.
Only there for one night so didn't find anything not to like especially given the cheapness of the stay.

Dakota Guest House was very nice indeed and Joy was very helpful and accommodating when needing to add an additional room.. The proximity to Stoneleigh Park was fantastic and we shall be booking more rooms shortly for next years event.
Few observations - I found driving into the back car park very tricky and nearly scraped my car due to the angle of the turn.. The single room did not have a hairdryer when I asked and was told it did - however, this was not a problem as I utilised a hairdryer from my friends room. Also, when having a shower, it took ages for the hot water to come through, and there were times when it turned freezing cold midway through my shower - it sorted itself out in the end though.. When using the sink, if you lean over the sink, you can hit your head on the glass shelf above. Finally, and a personal requirement - I prefer to have a toilet with a lid, so you are not having to look down the pan all the time..

Pillows not enough

The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in
The noise of other people staying can be heard but it didn’t interrupt me or my sleep

Spacious room and liked coming into the room with the heating being on so it was nice and warm when we arrived, I was bracing myself to be freezing for the night. A brilliant reasonably priced vending machine that even contained chicken noodles which I highly recommend they keep in the machine, some bowls and cutlery as well left out for anyone who needs it!
This is our second time staying here, we came in may and it was lovely other than we didn't get much in our tea and coffee station and had mentioned maybe leaving bowls out with refills it's nice to see our advice was taken on board! In may we also had a faulty tap on the shower that kept the shower at a scorching hot temperature luckily this was looked at right away upon us leaving and informing them.
The beds are lovely and comfy!
We're due back in December and look forward to returning again! We now have found our little staying spot for when visiting Stratford and I don't think we'd go anywhere else!
Someone had been smoking weed near our accomodation and it unfortunately made the room smell, we had plenty of coffee but only 2 tea bags and the bowls at the desk had been ransacked so maybe have to start individual refill bowls in rooms or maybe asked before arrival how many teas and sugars would be needed.
The plugs at the end of our child's bed didn't work which caused and issue for us needing her night light we had to keep our lamp on and hers off, there was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom and this has been mentioned and unfortunately we did have some rather rude guests who were up at 5:30 in the morning making a racket above us so woke us up and also continued to be loud in the corridor.
Some rooms also have designated parking spaces and ours had sadly been taken so had struggled to park this may need making guests aware numbered spaces are assigned for the numbered room and to not take it.

Comfortable bed, good room facilities, good location. The room was warm and comfortable.
Access to rear parking is too narrow for a SUV.
Shower temperature could not be changed and was scolding; I was unable to use the shower due to this. Extractor fan didn’t work. This was very frustrating. Only 2 pillows provided, no extras in the room. I would have liked another.
Noise through the room door was loud, the walls seemed fairly soundproofed but not the doors. The couple in the opposite rooms conversation kept me awake; as did their noisy sex later 🤦♀️
No staff in sight to resolve shower issue early in the morning, I had to leave before 9am on a Sunday so I didn’t try calling the telephone number provided.

Easy access and room was nice
Wasn't entirely sure the bed was clean as found a hair in it.
My knees touched the sink whilst on the toilet.

It's located not far from Coventry city ctr and Warwick University.
The area is quiet and the lodge has ample parking spaces.
Not far from the lodge there is Lunt Roman Fort. Open to the public on certain days.
The bed is a double but a small double...so it's quite uncomfortable for a good night sleep.
Although the whole room is clean, I did find stained coffee marks on the coffee tray and the teaspoon.
The toilet is tiny and each time you use the tap or flush the toilet, there is an awful drain smell that lingers in the room.

Good and quiet location and good value basic but very clean accommodation and comfortable beds. . Perfect for a short stay of 1 or 2 nights . Safe parking and convenient for pubs, takeaways, Coventry and Warwick
TV very small and no area to relax in if you don’t want to stay in your room

Great location. Single room of good size. Good shower. Allocated parking. Easy room access with good instructions.
Toilet was not clean. Kettle needed descaling. Glass was dirty. Access to the car park is very narrow and the marks on the wall showed there had been a few scrapped cars/vans as a consequence. Didn’t get a great nights sleep as the plumbing was very noisy and didn’t stop until 1am.

The guest house was easy to find, with clear and straightforward instructions provided ahead of arrival. The room was mostly clean, the bed was comfortable, and it offered good value for money considering the area. There's also a lovely pub just down the road — The Old Mill — which we really enjoyed.
The bathroom was quite cramped, particularly around the toilet and shower. To use the shower, we had to open the bedroom door to step in, then close it behind us, which was awkward. During our stay — which happened to be during a heatwave — the room was extremely hot due to the lack of any cooling equipment (no air conditioning or even a fan).
There were several cleanliness and maintenance issues: mould on the shower grout, a thick layer of dust under the desk (clearly visible through the cable hole), and I had to carry out some minor maintenance myself — including tightening the shower door handle, adjusting the bathroom door lock, and sorting the seals around the shower connections. While packing to leave, I moved the bedside table to unplug a charger and discovered two small bags containing a white powder, presumably left by a previous guest.

Nice and clean, good room facilities
I scraped my front wing trying to get into the rear parking lot - very tight - don’t try with a bigger car

Great location, easy access.
Noise from other occupants but considering it’s a house rebuilt into a guesthouse, shouldn’t really complain!

There are designated parking spaces with your room number, the wifi is a great connection, water pressure was amazing in the shower and the Dakota’s location is perfect!!
They could do with a fan in the rooms for hot weather!
