Very convenient for Stoneleigh Park and Coventry. Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was cheap in comparison to other nearby accommodation. A good venue just to sleep the night.
The room was too hot and it was difficult to get to a lower temperature for a comfortable nights sleep. Food choice in eatery was poor with no vegetarian options except the standard cheese pizza.

The receptionist was cheery and helpful, the food (limited menu) was lovely
The floors and walls are paper thin. We were repeatedly woken by other guests arriving late, the last at 2am. Banging about, running diesel engines in the car park, shouting to each other and in the end a couple in the room above discussing their journey, every word we could hear.

Location
The buildings are tired. The outside light come into the room and the price doesn't reflect the facilities

Staff were amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was decentish for the size of the place. The room was warm and bed comfortable. The place was clean but tired.
The place was quite tired, we had bleach stains on the carpet and the windows were only single pane so a little noisy, but to be fair it was only the birds thay woke us so not complaining there. If it was busier there may have been a problem! We paid in total £126 for a nights stay with late check out and breakfast. It seems a little steep compared to others but it worked for us.

Comfortable room, but basic. No bath. Felt secure, quiet area.
Dog fee of £15 per dog per night for my two dogs added 50% to the cost of my stay. This isn't advertised anywhere - at the actual cost of £90 per night, it isn't good value for money so I won't be staying again.

Clean room , safe parking
- didn’t get told WiFi password
- someone came to reception asking what room I’m in and reception told them my room number breaking gdpr and this person who I was trying to stay away from came to my hotel room to confront me - total breach of security and gdpr

The hotel is perhaps a little outdated, but has all basic amenities for an overnight work stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms very basic and in need of an update (stained carpets, old design style) but were clean, warm and with a comfy bed so I was happy enough!
I was pleasantly surprised by breakfast, the hotel and eating area are tiny but the breakfast was quite well stocked and the staff were aroun, and checking the food often to ensure nobody was going hungry. There were no alternatives to milk/butter (for if you're dairy free like me) but I found other options and there's an asda 2 min down the road should you wish to purchase some.
The stains on the flooring in the room weren't nice to be around (but they did look like bleach stains.)
I was on the ground floor, near the main entrance gate. Each time the gate opened there was a horrific squeak which I thought may have kept me awake but I did manage to nod off and get a great sleep.
The wifi was slow, but free.

The staff were friendly.
The hotel has a secure automatic gate, so the parking area feels protected.
The bathroom is modern and newly renovated. It did have a slightly stale smell, as it could use more ventilation (there’s no window in the bathroom), but overall the bathroom was clean and well-designed.
The room was clean, and the bed linen smelled fresh and clean.
I wasn’t a fan of the décor. It had a very old American motel vibe, the kind you see in B-movies. It even reminded me of Butch and Fabienne’s room in Pulp Fiction - just swap the bulky 90s TV for a flat screen and that’s pretty much it.

Easy to navigate, great location just out of the city, quiet generous carpark. The staff especially Olivia were outstanding. Really helpful and I extended my stay partly because of this hotel.

Location was fine for us and the room was basic and clean. However, it was very tired looking room and sprucing up the walls with a contemporary feel really didn't do it.
Not too much you can change but it really has Post WWII Butlin's chalet feel set within a high fenced compound. It's tricky to mitigate, but there are people walking past your windows at all hours on the way to their room. We stayed on Saturday night and I suspect a few wedding guests were returning from the event, and whilst they weren't particularly noisy, the room adjacencies meant your heard the faintest sound. This is not a place I'd return to, but it will be fine for some.

Room was warm and clean, comfortable bed. TV. Shower room was also good. This is a motel style Ibis with rooms on ground floor and first floor rooms accessed via steps and a veranda. Large car park. The reception was in a separate building on the other side of the car park and this was where the buffet breakfast was served in a cafe area next to the reception, which also had a small bar, there was lounge style seating. The whole Ibis complex was surrounded by trees and a high security fence with electric gate. This Ibis is on the edge of what appeared to be a very large and new(?) industrial park which had access to major roads. No shops nearby, too far to walk anywhere, so we took a £10 taxi ride into the city centre and this was booked for us by the receptionist.
We were asked by the receptionist on arrival, if we wanted a ground floor room, but we didn't need one. Anyone with difficulty would need to check this requirement in advance of booking, as there were quite a lot of steps to the first floor and there isn't a lift.

Check in and check out were super fast and easy. Surroundings were quiet. Staff were all super friendly. Bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean. Bed was comfy and had the option of an extra pillow which is always a plus in my opinion.
Arriving at the hotel, the gate didn’t open and we ended up in the David Lloyd car park that we couldn’t get out of so had to go in and get a code from them to get out of the car park. 2 other parties had the same issue as us so we know it wasn’t just us. So was a bit of a faff!

Clean bathroom with good shower, comfortable bed.
Room smelled of smoke.
Bright strip light on all night in gangway outside room.
Poor electrics - loose cables which could have been dangerous.
It rained during the night & water was pouring from a faulty gutter right outside our room.

I booked my stay in advance and contacted the hotel twice (4th and 10th September) to ask about hypoallergenic bedding due to my asthma and allergies. I received no reply at all. On arrival, I was told they had no such bedding and that my emails were “not received” – yet the hotel managed to respond to my request only on my check-in date, which makes no sense.
I was then told I could cancel free of charge, but this was last minute, when prices at other hotels were much higher and availability was limited. I felt I had no choice but to stay, despite it being unsuitable for my health needs.
The situation caused me unnecessary stress and frustration, and although I was promised a call back from a manager, no one has contacted me to this day.
Very poor communication, lack of care for guests with health needs, and zero accountability. I expected far better from Ibis.

Easy to find, easy check in. Staff on arrival friendly and accommodating. Facilities were clean and warm.
On leaving handed key in and was asked to hang on a sec, while girl on reception I believe was checking if any outstanding charges. She stated that I had a dog which they normally charge for. I explained that I had already paid for the dog at the time I paid for the room on check in. I had to explain and breakdown the price. She did apologise but felt as I was trying to cheat them.

The staff are lovely
The hotel is not a hotel it is a motel… found it difficult to find. on the websites the rooms look lovely obviously because the pics are touched up and professionally taken, in reality the rooms are disgusting. First of all I felt very unsafe in my own room especially at night. Secondly, the rooms are much smaller than what the pics show. The rooms stank so badly, I cannot describe this disgusting smell that we could not get rid of even when we opened the windows and sprayed perfume everywhere, my friends room was next door to ours and they had that horrible smell too in their room as well… as soon as you open your bedroom door you have all these leaves, flies, moths come into you room so you have to be quick with shutting the door behind you. At night time, and for security reasons I felt so unsafe keeping my window open because people have to walk past your windows to get to their rooms and the windows are old and they open wide, anyone could jump in through the window. You can be lying in your bed and watch people walking by along this narrow outdoor walkway.
The carpet in both the rooms which we booked room 142 and 143 were badly stained not in just one corner or spot, it was literally all over the bedroom carpet… I could have walked out and left and booked elsewhere but because of the nature of our visit and from a five hour journey and knowing we would not get a refund we didn’t bother, plus we had an evening wedding reception event to attend which meant we only had to endure 6/7hours in those smelly, dirty rooms… I am not one to complain as I work in hospitality myself, but this was something out of an American horror movie or a cartel movie. This is a motel not a hotel. If I could upload videos on this review I would as pics don’t do justice

Not easy to find.

Decent room size, nice bathroom, breakfast was a nice surprise
Strip lights outside rooms are fine but need black out blinds, too bright when trying to sleep. Beds seem to be collapsing in the middle rising on the sides quite uncomfortable. No bathroom fans so room gets quite humid.

I booked this place as it had security gates, was 5 minutes from a morning job and free parking.
The young man working Friday evening was brilliant. Friendly and how staff should be.
The room was clean and cosy but had a strong smell of beer.
Everything in the room worked . Excellent shower.
The bed was super comfortable.
The bar drink prices were fine.
The Breakfast ruined the stay. It was the worst one I have ever eaten at any Ibis or anywhere.
I regret paying for it and if I stay here again I wouldn't order it.
The wooden benches in the outside seating area needs replacing. That area looked like a dump.
4.0 / 10.0
Not a pleasant Ibis, the outside of the rooms looks very old and the metal fence and huge metal gate isn't exactly welcoming when you enter. Breakfast wasn't great either and hadn't been refreshed when we went for breakfast at 8.30am from the people before. Wouldn't stay again and would put me off booking an Ibis again when previously I had always had good experiences.

The Ibis has had a make over . The gardens are nice, a nice bar. The outside has been painted. For the price it is a lovely place. It is safe as it has a gate which gives a feeling of safety. I enjoy staying there. Lovely hot shower aswell, tea and coffee in the room.
All was fine.
