Very pleasant and I would stay again

All staff were polite and made us very welcome and when I asked about late check out, reception staff explained to me that if I was a HGI member it was no charge (I did ask if there was a charge)

Fantastic staff and lovely comfortable hotel

Very comfortable, excellent restaurant food, superb staff, good decor, great in room facilities. We received absolutely amazing service from the receptionists May and Charlotte (especially May who went the extra mile to ensure that our stay and the booking process was absolutely perfect). Also, the bar staff were superb. Our stay was superb

The location wasn’t the easiest to access, and it’s quite confusing finding where to drop off the bags and then park as parking is not on site. Also the room was vey expensive for a Monday night and prices were equivalent to London, which surprised me.

Friendly, helpful staff with the stylish decor make the stay at an Indigo always special. The bed and bedding were comfortable.

The shower needed some instructions as was unable to use the hand shower on its own. Need spotlight above long mirror.

We were very well looked after.

The Hotel fulfilled all our requirements. The restaurant was superb. The staff were amazing, both in the Hotel and in the Cogs Restaurant. My husband and I are both very elderly, and my husband has mobility issues. The staff were so kind and solicitous of our needs.

Perfect stay will return again without hesitation

Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The 2 girls on reception at check in were amazing as was the gentleman on the night shift. Room was spotlessly clean and spacious with complimentary drinks in fridge. Bath and shower beautiful with endless hot water. Bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get up.

Satisfactory but let down by customer service

Unfortunately our check in experience tainted what should have been a treat for a friend who travelled during Storm Claudia despite train cancellations. The initial check in was not customer friendly and I had booked two rooms but had to prove this (two rooms) despite having numerous communications with the hotel previous to arrival. I feel that I will have to think twice about selected this chain and was going to book for a surprise for my husband next week in another location but my recent experience did not bode well. The WI fi also wasn't available and also there were unavailable items in bar/restaurant in the evening. Disappointing as I wished to support local economy

Really nice rooms and interior, very clean, great brekkie, lovely staff, v good deal on the parking.

Why only 1 caffeinated teabag? Tried to call reception for more but no answer. Noise insulation isn’t the best. Could hear stomping around upstairs and rowdy teens in the corridor. Shower pressure not great.

Location is great, so near to the train station. Food at the restaurant was good, too - sometimes ‘chains’ only give basic food. Staff was very helpful and friendly. GREAT idea for a dispensable alcoholic drinks section !!! Hotel is only about 2 years old - nice and clean. Please keep it up 🤓👏👏
