Parking. When there’s a major social event like a wedding, parking is a problem

Receiving an email designed as a standard template to be personalised to an individual by name, but it is not so personalised but addressed to ‘WHOEVER.’ Such thoughtless depersonalisation can cause offence, giving the impression of a hotel regime more concerned with maintaining the smooth running beaurocracy for the ‘service provider’s convenience’ rather than the more traditional view of the service provider offering a service at the sericecee’s convenience.

Overall was ok but they can do better

The restaurant and the food amazing. The room was ok, clean sheets. Nice Sauna room

I booked matrimonial bed and they gave us 2 separate beds. No fridge in the room. The jacuzzi didnt work, the pool wasn’t accessible.

The heating in one of our room didn’t work. Staff managed to give us an alternative external heater. We were in a family room and the next room was like an annex room. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable and the mattress on sofa bed was torn, probably it’s time for a replacement. Apart from above concern, the room was very spacious and the breakfast was awesome. I would recommend to stay but they definitely need attention to detail on sofa bed and old heating system. Thank You

We only stayed for one night we were at the NLR dinner so didn’t say anything

Lovely hotel and the room was nice. we attended the NLR prize presentation but I have to say the meal we had was absolutely amazing 🤩 staff were lovely too

The room was cold 🥶 and other people commented that their room was cold too xx had to put a towel from the bathroom over me during the night

Definitely would return

Room was spacious and bed was comfortable, we didn't eat at the property but overall had a good stay. This hotel has ample parking and 24 hour concierge.

Difficulty knowing if our booking was processed or not as the hotel said the card on booking.com was declined but I had no information on this and there was no phone number to contact booking.com but when we arrived the front desk had kept a room available and we were able to check in smoothly.

Very comfortable and well planned facilities. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Food was good and promptly delivered to our room - reasonable prices.

We were a little disappointed with the pool and spa facilities. One small point - the toiletries can’t be reached while in the bath!

The location was great, big tesco and other facilities near by. We had a meal in the bar on the evening, food was lovely, service great and price was good. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were all friendly and efficient

We had two rooms , both newly refurbished , so all good, beds were really comfy. The girls on reception were first class and friendly. We had a bacon butty ,hash brown and tomato for breakfast which was great.

Lots of parking and an amazing lady on reception when we checked out.

Layer of black mold around the bath, toilet seat was loose, cold mixer tap on shower was loose, shower leaked on the bathroom floor and what sounded like a race horse using the toilet in another room.

Room was great on ground floor with accessible shower which I had asked for if available Check in staff brilliant

During the evening ( we were attending a Bowls England celebration dinner) I went out of the event room and followed signs for disabled toilet but found that the door was locked and out of use. The ladies toilet was not suitable as I am having a complicated knee replacement tomorrow. So I had to then leave the event to go back to our room to use the toilet there.

terrible stay at coventry

I stayed here for four nights, and it was a complete disappointment. The room was dirty, the furniture was extremely old and worn out, and the carpet looked terrible. Even the bed linens felt outdated and overused. There was visible mold in the bathroom, and the bathtub had a disturbing yellowish tint. I stayed in mid-November, and the room was freezing. Although the hotel provided a small electric heater, it didn’t warm up the space at all. Additionally, the hotel offers no basic amenities such as slippers, bathrobes, or sewing kits. Overall, a terrible stay — I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I always like the breakfast choices and varieties. I never liked dinner when I ordered. So much regret on this. I didn't understand the quality of onions rings had to return most of them. Sooo hard to eat. Toilet repaired twice during the stay. This was communicated on the reception when leaving.

Beverly, on reception, was a delight and made me feel welcome and safe right from the first second. She was warm, friendly, and so safety conscious that she didn't even say my room number out loud. The nicest greeting at a hotel I have ever had. Thank you for the lovely cookie too!

Good standard but not deluxe

Staff breakfast comfortable clean

Room ok but it didn't seem like a deluxe room and we had to ask for tea and milk as it didn't get replaced in room. Plus the alarm went off just as we got to sleep! Apparently it was a water leak somewhere. We weren't expecting to pay £16 for car park.

2nd stay in 2 years. I'm sure we will be back again next year.

Our second year staying here for The Long Road festival which is a 20min drive away. Great facilities. Clean and comfortable. Was also perfectly adequate for a Scottish football team who were staying at the hotel the night we were there as they were playing Coventry City that weekend. If its good enough for them it's good enough for anyone. Great value for money too.

Not within (easy) walking distance of any shops, well I suppose you could walk If you don't mind dodging traffic on busy roads. However there are a few big shops and restaurants as well as cinema if you want to drive over to them.
