The Hamlet - Luxury Serviced Apartments

Hamlet is an amazing place to stay when visiting Geneva. It is beyond my expectations and far better than many 5-star luxury hotels. First of all, it is located in the historical old town of Geneva, and has the charm of old brick buildings, but with all the modern renovation and amenities. The property is meticulously managed. Secondly, the staff is super nice and helpful. Our host Sebastien is very friendly and nice, and reached out ahead of time to check our needs. He stocked up some essential groceries in the fridge before our arrival. Even when we checked in late in the night, he came in to greet us and delivered the key personally. It was a very warming experience. Thirdly, the apartment is super comfortable. Even with the heat wave, the staff managed to install mobile AC to cool down the unit. It is not common in old buildings in Europe. Beds are clean and comfortable, and pillows are the right size and firmnesses. They even provided adaptors for outlets (for international travelers). The kitchen is well equipped, and they provided cooking oil, salt etc, and stocked up eggs, water, butter, pasta and source, bread etc. We don’t even need to shop for groceries, although we only cooked a light breakfast. The common area (the square) is a nice touch and my kid was enjoying finding cookies and drinks in the club. The washer/dryer is in unit and functional well and laundry detergents are provided. If I can rate it more than 10, I will rate it 12/10 with extra points for the staff and the AC.

Beautiful property located in Old Town. Everything was done so mindfully and perfectly - the amenities provided, kitchen utensils and cookware, the design and layout of the apartment, and having a common living area where guests are welcomed to coffee and snacks. The staff (Sebastien and Anaelle) were extremely helpful, kind and accommodating, making us feel welcomed and right at home the moment we arrived. Having travelled extensively all over the world and stayed in luxury hotels, this is definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed at.

The welcome experience was outstanding and truly surpassed what you would expect even from a luxury hotel. Upon arrival, the hosts had prepared a generous selection of high-quality complimentary items, including fresh bread, eggs, salmon, juices, snacks, wine, as well as pasta and pasta sauce. This level of attention and generosity made the stay feel very special from the very beginning. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, with well-organized drawers, quality cookware, and a premium coffee setup with a wide selection of capsules. The entire apartment was spotless, very well prepared, and thoughtfully arranged, with a personal welcome note that added a very nice touch. A special thanks to Melody, Sebastien & Anaëlle for their excellent hospitality and smooth communication throughout the stay. They also provided Geneva Transport Cards for the entire duration of our stay, which was extremely convenient for getting around the city and especially for traveling to Geneva Airport. The design throughout the apartment is modern and high-quality, and the bathroom features excellent finishes along with premium toiletries. The space is also very quiet, making it perfect for rest and relaxation. The only minor point for improvement would be the shower setup, which is not fully practical as it only has a handheld shower and lacks a proper place to put toiletries. Overall, an exceptional stay, I would definitely return.
