Pleasant short stay

Helpful staff. Swiss plugs provided. Replaced broken kettle quickly. Generally pleasant staff.

Switzerland is very expensive so weensy you get for roughly 160 gbp a night is basic, however it's a lovely clean basic place with everything you need. Bathrooms in swiss hotels in general need to be modernised.

Fab hotel in beautiful city!

Hotel location is brilliant - so close to the train station and a short walk to the Lake. Breakfast was really lovely and served in a delightful room. Beds were comfy.

We were in a ground floor room, and people congregated outside our window talking loudly until late at night and were sometimes smoking, which then drifted into our room.

Great position near Gare Cornavin and Gare Routiére, friendly staff. V. Good wi-fi. Several restaurants close by. Nespresso machine ( but no milk) in room. Hot water in shower easy to control ( unlike several hotels!)

Needs maintenance ( squeaky door hinges, loose toilet seat). Fairly noisy room at front...bin men come 06.30 on Mondays. A/C not functional (hot). Breakfast pretty basic.

Location is great to catch trams towards the UNHQ and the Central Station.

A bit noisy, it was difficult to have proper rest. Wasn’t able to open window overlooking street. Breakfast very basic but options limited.

Location, as it was very close form the train station. Good breakfast, clean room.

A bit strange check-in process if you arrive late, you have to cross the street and check-in into another hotel and get key there, but that was not a problem. Our room was at the first floor and a bit dark as you had to close the curtains as people and cars are passing by.

The location was very central and extremely close to the train station, literally across the road about a 4 minute walk. The room was very clean. Breakfast was basic but nice and good coffee. The waitress in the dining room at breakfast was kind and very pleasant.

I would tell my friends to stay here.

Excellent location. A nice supermarket steps away at the train station. We could walk everywhere except the Botanical Gardens and the Res Cross Museum. But then the hotel gave us transit passes for our entire stay, which was also good for getting us to the airport on our departure. Loves the kettle and fridge and nespresso machine on the room.

Maids kept forgetting to replace bathmat or herbal tea bags and insisted on moving the wastebasket back to an inconvenient location even though every day we placed it where we wanted it. Also bedside lighting poor for reading. Need them mounted on the wall.

The location was perfect. Close to the city center with lots of shops and restaurant near by. Staff was friendly.

The rooms could do with some updating. Bathroom was very small and the shutters on the window didn't work so it was very dark in the room. There was a construction going on nearbt and the works have been carried out very early so we couldn't sleep because of the noise. Appreciate this is out of the hotel control but if possible it would be good to allocate a different room. Breakfast was very limited in choice, no vegtebales or anything hot other than eggs which you could boil yourself.

Room was very comfortable. But fridge need a good clean awful smell. Felt just 2 sachet of coffee was a bit mean. There obviously no breakfast here.

Avoid

Misleading advertisement. The hotel listed as having soundproofing, which is not the case. All sounds from the street come as if there is no soundproofing. Though it is showed as non-smoking, the pillows were with a strong smell of cigarettes. I booked for two nights and at around 23.00 sent a request to cancel the 2nd night as it was impossible to sleep. The hotel refused. I checked out and had to pay another hotel.

A nice trip to Genève

The location is great, near the station and stores. The front desk service is good as well. We can use our free traveler card to take bus to the United Nations and Jet d’eau. (There is a nice chocolate shop near the hotel, but we find out that we can buy the same goods for a much cheaper price in Interlaken.)

The hair dryer is a little bit dirty.
