Overall a great stay!

The hotel is in a great location, was really clean and the staff were lovely. The bar and food were also really nice. We hired a car so it was also useful to be able to use the car park, although it’s a bit tight for space!

If anything I would say the pillows are not comfortable and I would have liked to have had hair conditioner!

I realise that this is beyond the hotels controll but thye could have given me a different room.

There was a street concert right outside my room and I couldnt get to sleep until 3am each night

Excellent hotel with convenient location.

Excellent location, modern rooms, kind staff, great breakfast.

Caution with the neighborhood at bar close. I felt safe during the day and evening (really it was the perfect location) with no concern; however, one should be careful around midnight and after due to the characters on the streets. Characters included prostitutes, drug dealers, and I was clearly followed by hooded men for about a block, who stopped and waited until the desk worker let me into the hotel. With that said, I would not let that interfere with future bookings, I will just be more aware of timing for which I come and go from the hotel.

Great venue for a short stay with close proximity to lake promenade and shops.

The room was decent, good sized comfortable bed and pull out bed for a child, made the room a little tight but for just two nights it was fine. The room otherwise was clean and the bathroom was quite nice although I fail to understand having a separate toilet without a wash basin to wash hands. You have to open the door and walk all the way to the main bathroom to wash hands, it seems very unhygienic. Breakfast selection was very nice but very expensive at CHF30. There are many tea rooms/cafes nearby, proximity to the lake and other amenities is great.

It was not made clear we would be so close to ground floor with no view. There was a lot of noise outside at night, the windows were either not double glazed or good quality because we could hear everything. It felt like we were in a cheap motel in a questionable area. Considering the high price we were quite surprised by this.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share my recent experience during my stay at the Novotel Geneva Center, a place I’ve frequented and cherished since 2008. However, this time, I must express my disappointment with several aspects of my stay: 1. The room I was allocated felt notably dull and lacked the usual ambiance I have come to expect and enjoy. 2. One issue that particularly affected my comfort was the inability to open the windows for fresh air circulation, resulting in a somewhat stagnant atmosphere in the room. 3. Additionally, the air conditioning system seemed to be malfunctioning, offering only heating options during the winter season. The lack of cooling made the room’s temperature uncomfortable. 4. Despite requesting a room change, I regret that I did not receive any response or assistance from your team. 5. Furthermore, I noticed an increase in the breakfast rate, which seemed disproportionate considering that the quality and quantity of offerings remained unchanged. I have been a loyal patron of Novotel Geneva Center for many years, and it pains me to relay these concerns as they deviate from the wonderful experiences I’ve had in the past. I trust that your team values customer feedback and aims to uphold the high standards that have characterized this establishment. I kindly request that you address these issues to ensure that future stays at Novotel Geneva Center maintain the excellence that I have always associated with your brand. Lovely apart from a couple of noisy nights

The location is brilliant as a base to explore the city and the area around it. Staff are really helpful and hotel is clean bright and easy to navigate.

We were on the second floor above the garage and at times it was very noisy with people talking outside, shouting and motor bikes coming and going during the night. The windows did nothing to keep the noise out and we were convinced that they were open at one point but checking them showed that they were closed! People live in the area so you can’t stop the noise but investing in some good windows that reduce outside noise is a must!

Great weekend

Large spacious room, clean and tidy. Was in a good location with many restaurants around. Staff were good and looked after you as best they could.

Breakfast was too expensive, £32 per head is just too much. Ended up at the cafe down the road where I could get a good fed up with a decent coffee for around £15.

Would be better if they provide live egg cooking station for the breakfast, parking areas are not suitable for big families car if you are coming in a van you will have to park in other parking area (which is around 5 to 7 minutes walk away from the hotel)

Location is good, just keep in mind if you are coming in a big Van you won’t be able to park in the Hôtel parking due to hight limitation, but you can park in public paid parking area which is around 5 minutes walk from the hotel
