Not clean enough, had a terrible smell in our room and had to change rooms.. because I had to complain.. they knew about the smell problem in the room. The service at breakfast wasn t that good.

True premium at correct price

Hotel itself is a great luxurious historical building, with old money feeling (even if it was fully refurbished in 2017). Hotel location, room facilities and view are top premium. Overall, staff was very helpful and pleasant. Reception, restaurant, bar, bellman, valet parking, all were there when you needed them.

Room service was in a unexplainable delay. We have waited them 1 hour for having their confirmed bottle of wine, while calling them 3 times for reminders. SPA area needs to be booked few days before cause is space limited (and we weren't priory informed).

OVERPRICED.

Excellent staff and dining room food. Great location. Room size was great but electric in our room kept kicking off. Had to have the technician come in twice because A/C and TV and electricity in room would stop working. Very frustrating. Looks like bathroom was remodel but the layout odd. The shower stall not sturdy. The door would not close well and leak water. The design where toilet in room with closet without a sink was odd and ridiculous. After using toilet need to walk around through room and into bathroom to wash hands.

Unremarkable and disappointing - below expectations

The location was lovely, however the foyer and breakfast areas (including the menu) were small and underwhelming. The hallways and furnishings were outdated and sparse. The room was more modernised and comfortable but mismatching (refurbished) not in keeping with the remainder of the hotel.

The service staff are young and inexperienced. Issues were not resolved promptly.

Awesome!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were there to celebrate my 60th birthday and retirement. From welcoming to the room decorations to the celebration in the restaurants the staff were very thoughtful. Everything was amazing! The concierge and the front desk staff were super helpful in helping us with our daily arrangements. One of the concierge, Matteus and a front desk staff, Nassim went out the way to arrange a special cake and a thoughtful gift for me. The stay was very memorable.

Amazing and so much fun

The ritz hotel is so beautiful. I loved it’s aesthetics, the room and view were amazing, the hotel’s staff were very kind, and i especially loved the piano and the classical music being played at the background. The spa was also amazing. Outstanding experience, a true luxurious hotel.

The location is very good. The Norwegian fish restaurant is excellent.

This is not what you might expect from "The Ritz". In fact, its a 4* hotel at best. A dirty carpet welcomes you and there was nobody to help take the suitcases up the first set of steps from the pavement outside. There was mould in the bathroom silicone, for example. Coffee stains in the bedroom carpet. Actually, the price is far too high for what it delivers and in my view, damages the "Ritz" brand significantly. "Ritz" prices but certainly not what you might expect.

Stunning hotel in a great location

The view from the room was beautiful and the staff were amazingly helpful in giving tips on where to go and how to get there.

The only negative I have is the bathroom, the toilet was separate from the main bathroom and didn't have a hand basin.

Great staff at Reception

Alexis from the reception is EXCEPTIONAL! He went on extra miles to make my friend’s stay comfortable despite of being unable to speak foreign language. Alexis made sure our extra requests like massage (as the hotel does not have in-house spa) and courier pickup as smooth as possible. Wonderful guy!
