Another great stay at Mon Repos - my go to for years for work trips in Geneva.

It’s a go to for me for work trips - close to the lake and city centre but not near the train station like lots of hotels. Good public transport but you can walk most places from here. Great breakfast spread, very comfy beds with great pillows and sheets. Friendly staff.

The only things that you have to leave the water running for a while to get hot water in the shower - there is plenty when it comes though!

A wonderful stay with a perfect room, great breakfast, very friendly staff, and super location :)

Everything was really great! The room was excellent: very comfortable, modern, and perfectly clean with a huge bed :). The breakfast was amazing, with a very good variety of fresh and tasty food, and I liked the coffee very-very much! The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any question. Another big plus is the location: the lake is just across the road, and there is a beautiful park right next to the hotel, perfect for walks and enjoying nature.

There was nothing that I truly disliked. Rather - this is more a sort of a small note for future guests traveling to Geneva - the power sockets are different, so, it might be worthwhile to bring your own adapter (I didn't ever think of it). And this matter of power sockets did not turn into a problem at the hotel - the hotel staff provided an adapter immediately at the reception.

A lovely hotel in Geneva

Excellent location, very easy to get to via public transport from the airport. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable! I enjoyed hospitality here.

It was cold outside and my heating / aircon was a little temperamental - someone did eventually come in to fix it but I couldn’t seem to find the right temperature for the room. My only other issue was I could hear the guest in the room next door talking which was disturbing - especially at 4am.

Excellent Value for Money, Superb location

Nice room with all amenities, comfortable bed. The location is perfect, very close to the UN agencies, and next to a park and the lake. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely consider this hotel when I revisit Geneva.

I would have liked some bottled water in the room when I arrived, and extension cords for power outlets (I had to use the water kettle on the floor, because the cord was too short). Other than that, everything went according to expectations.

Nice Geneva Hotel

Unfortunately there just 1 day. Reception service was friendly and room was as requested. Location was great, across from large park that fronted Lake Geneva. East walk into north side of town. Had to leave early next morning so did not have a chance to see or sample breakfast offerings.

Quiet location - Handy for WMO/UN/WIPO.

Only ten minutes by bus from Cornavin station or a few minutes walk from Sécheron station. A pleasant walk into town through the park. Well situated 10-15 walk to WIPO / UN and just round the corner from WMO. Helpful and friendly staff - comfortable beds and pleasant decor. Good buffet breakfast.

Room was very confortable and clean and staff left an Iron as requested

Room was very noisy from the elevator in the morning, wifi was intermittent in the mornings, shower head attachment didn't fit properly si very difficult to angle the shower in right direction, no coffee-making facilites in the room, just instant coffee

Lovely setting and facility, great location!

Location was the best! Great breakfast selection and venue. Loved the outside patio spaces. The staff and facility were perfect. Overall a great place to stay.

Our only note would be the size of the room and bathroom were much too small. The bath design is very tight in the room we had, nice design but a bit tight. Having a space for luggage for two to rest in the room would be nice.

Quiet, comfortable bed. Responsive staff: the first room we had smelled of cigarette smoke. upon informing them of this they moved us to another room that was free of smoke smell. There was a tiny bit of smoke smell but apparently guests ignore the non smoking rule. This room was much better and very comfortable.

The location is far from downtown but on the bus line which made it easy to get to the sights. Restaurants in the neighborhood were closed except one that was overpriced and not the best food.

Little annoying things which take away from what could be a good hotel?

Clean, quiet location. Lovely art, enjoyed going around the hotel to view it. Lovely to have a large window to open out the back. Fridge very useful.

Staff need to believe their guests when they say there is a problem: day 1, the safe had a ‘battery low’ error message, the male receptionist said no it’s fine, took 2 staff to fix it. Day 2, the air con had an error message, I even took a photo to show him, again he said there was no problem, I said look you can see it in the photo, at which point, the receptionist lady came out from the back office and said the whole of floor 3 was not working and it was easy to re-program- no thank you for letting us know! Guests can only do on & off with the air con it is controlled by the receptionist. Some notes with what not to do to preserve the hotel which is understandable, but takes away from the comfort and first impressions of the room, feels a bit clinical. Kettle tray only one of each item. No warm welcome from receptionist.

Couldn’t be happier with it

Absolutely happy with this hotel. The staff was very kind and friendly, the room was big, super clean and very well-equipped. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of options. Price was absolutely reasonable and it was worth every penny. Well connected to the centrum of Geneva. I really recommend it to everyone

Great location near the biotech park and the lake

Excellent location - two minutes walk from the biotech campus and the lake park, if these are your targets. In the public areas of the hotel, it feels like a museum with so many interesting items on display.

I stayed in Room 20, where the bathroom light was on and off by movement, and so it happened that in the middle of the shower, lights are all of sudden off! The rate of 22 franks for breakfast does fit what is offered, but sill ok.

Central location that is relatively calm, compared to other hotels facing the lake. Spacious room and great public transport options just outside.

Super hard mattress. Staff were kind enough to add a mattress topper to soften it upon request but i still found it very hard.

The location of the hotel is great for people travelling to the UN and surrounding campuses. They close by and so is the lake, so there is plenty in the area to do during free time.

The food options in the hotel were quite limited. What they did have was good and the staff was friendly, but I would have like to have seen more options.

The personal was very helpful, the location very good, just across the lake. We had free transportation and the station very close. Very good connection with the train station and with the main atractions. Very close to the Botanical garden - 5 minuntes walking Very good breakfast

Adequate

For me the location was perfect.

It lacked any kind of charm that would assure my return. I always appreciate a good breakfast but one day it was an absolute crush of people and at other times the stocking was low. The breakfast staff was pleasant and responsive and the food good. Little things like not restocking coffee supplies in the room, and frequently changing shower temperatures made me feel unappreciated as a guest.

Good value for money considering Geneva overall prices

Good finding! Comfortable, spacious room, for our family and dog (no fee for the dog!). Bed was very comfortable, shower was strong, and they offered a crib for our baby. Also, while the hotel is not at the center, it is in front of the lake, and with the city transport card offered for free, its a short ride - and the bus stop is right in front. Really liked it!
