    Excellent hotel, well located, friendly staff, well appointed rooms. You need to ask for a kettle if you want to make tea and they dont keep tea sachets or water in the room.

    I stayed at Hotel Longemalle in Geneva as a solo traveler and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—right by the lake, a short walk to the Old Town, and close to shops, cafes, and public transport. It made exploring Geneva on my own really easy and safe, even in the evenings. The room was beautifully designed, comfortable, and very clean. The bed was great, the linens felt high quality, and the bathroom had everything I needed. Despite being in a central area, it was quiet at night and I slept very well. The Wi‑Fi was reliable too, which was important for planning my days. The staff were consistently friendly and professional. They were happy to give recommendations for places to eat, things to see, and simple walking routes, which I appreciated as a solo guest. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and I always felt welcome and looked after. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good selection of fresh options and a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for starting the day without feeling rushed. The hotel’s overall ambiance is elegant but not stuffy; it feels warm and personal. Overall, Hotel Longemalle is a fantastic choice for solo travelers: central, safe, stylish, and genuinely hospitable. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Geneva.

    The hotel is beautiful and very close to central Geneva, lots of restaurants and shopping. Rooms were a decent size and very well appointed. That said, the hotel lacked porters, the reception staff was shockingly unable to provide recommendations, and the breakfast was sparse.
