Server at breakfast was kind.
Drains were slow in bathroom. Poor security at night: Too easy to arrive into entry with noone noticing from front desk.

Clean and nice
The elevator too small but it’s ok
4.0 / 10.0
Location and decor in the communal areas.
The photos of the communal areas downstairs were much more impressive than the actuality of the bedrooms upstairs. Rather than the swish downstairs decor, the room was bland and basic. The most annoying was the absence of kettle/coffee maker which was made worse by the response of the disinterested staff about the possibility of getting a cup of coffee outside time allotted to breakfast! Breakfast in itself was basic and it was irritating to see the hotel keeping up the tradition of serving cold scrambled eggs!

Great value for money, friendly staff, good location. My second visit, will book it again.
The toilet/showers are very, very old (but clean). Shower head attachment was broken so had to hold the shower hand in one hand.

Very tired room and public areas. Shared door between two rooms that couldn’t be locked

The hotel is reasonably well located, being a 10 minute walk from Geneve Eaux-Rives Station, which has a good restaurant nearby on the way down to the hotel and is on the direct line to the Stade de Geneve. It is a short walk to find the tram and buses that link you to the main station in 15 to 20 minutes. The waterfront is about 5-10 minutes walk away and the Cathedral area about 15 minutes walk away. The reception staff were on duty during the day and late at night after I came back after the Women’s Euros and are friendly. The area felt safe and is reasonably well-lit. The two rooms I had were spacious, clean and comfortable. There was no internal noise and I had no problems as regards the availability of the lift. The hotel offered the Geneva Travel Card, which gave free travel on all forms of transport, throughout my stay.
I had to use a plug socket on an extension leads on the floor as there were no wall sockets. The Hotel still uses soap rather than refillable soap holders, which I think are a more environmentally friendly option. There is some external noise being next to a road, but not enough to cause me any problems sleeping.

Really good location, very friendly staff and compared to the other options good value for money.

The breakfast was adequate, continental with scrambled egg and sliced smoked sausage as a hot option which is consistentxwith other hotels I have stayed at in Switzerland
Tge AC temperature wasnt adjustable via the comtroller. It was also noisy and givennit was 36 degrees all week during the day, the room thermometer on tge cobtroller was showing 26.4 at night.

Friendly staff. Great location.
Central climate control did not work at all one night, other nights it did but just slightly. The room temperature in the night remained between 25 - 28 degrees.
The climate thing made a lot of noise.

Very good location, downtown and convenient. Very good value for money, particularly when Geneva has events. It’s listed as 2 stars hotel but I feel it’s more than that!!! All staff are very nice and responsive, even attentive to messages in booking app
1.0 / 10.0
Location
Sheets (itchy) pillows (hard and/or lumpy) mattress (uneven) were on par with a detainment camp
No chain on the door and thin walls made me uncomfortable anytime someone walked by. The floor boards were curling up on the sides in places and I cut my foot on one
Disgusting shower
No minibar or even water bottle in the room, I had to ask for a bottle at reception
No AC or even a fan. It was boiling in the room and actually hotter than outside
The outlet where I was charging my phone got so overheated I unplugged it because I was paranoid it would catch fire while I slept. So my phone died overnight and I woke up late since my alarm didn’t go off.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful, The staff in the breakfast diningroom were clueless, decorated very dated and the bathroom shower door wasbbroken and bathroom basin plug was broken too. The location was great and all in all we had a great time in Geneva
Fridge didn't work, very expensive for what we had. Was very average.

We arrived early and our room was already available for us, that made our day after a long flight from the U.S. The location is very convenient and the area is very nice.
The room decor was a bit outdated.
4.0 / 10.0
The room was clean, as well as the bedsheets and towels. Staff friendly and helpful. The view from my room wasn't too bad.
The lobby has clearly been renovated, but the rest of the hotel is incredibly outdated. My room still had an old FM radio embedded in the furniture. The walls and doors are paper-thin — I could hear every sound from the neighboring rooms. The wooden window frames don’t close properly, and the blinds don’t block out light entirely, so expect a bright room even with the curtains drawn.
There’s only one very small elevator serving seven floors, which means long waits. On top of that, there’s no visible external emergency exit for the upper floors — in case of a fire, it seems the only way out would be the narrow internal staircase. This is a serious safety concern.

Although only for one night, we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and the location was quite central. Our room was clean, comfy and spacious.
8.0 / 10.0
Breakfast was good, a bit more variety wouldn’t hurt though. Say, hot oatmeal and some vegetables would be a good addition to what is already being offered.
The fact that I couldn’t turn my AC on (the unit was turned off for the entire hotel until warmer time) AND the radiator in my room was warm/hot here and there (not sure why) resulted in me having to open the windows at night for some cool air but then it was noisy from the outside city life.
5.0 / 10.0
Location
Out of date. It reminds me of the hotel I worked for in 1980. The lobby, the lift, the room, the energy, the feeling. Old fashioned.
3.0 / 10.0
Good location, not in the old town but still easily accessible to all major attractions. Good size room.
The staff on duty that night were clearly overworked, he was never at the reception and when we could finally check in he just gave us our cards and room number. No info about our travel card or the area, check out times. Weren’t able to get our travel card until the end of the night. Was impossible to get hold of someone to discuss our issues so we gave up trying in the end. The person on in the morning was very friendly. Aircon, didn’t work. Safe in the room, didn’t work. Key to access minibar, unable to get access key. Wardrobe must be next to some electrical system as it blasted hot air into the room whenever you opened the doors.

The location is perfect and the staff is friendly
Hotel very old nothing available for free in the bathroom ( no vanity bag, the minimum is not there )
The charger and adapters not compatible
No free water in the room

The location is very good.
The room was like a student dorm from 90-ties. With mouldy/dusty walpapers, old window curtains and the bathroom like in the granny's house. The door of minibar cupboard was hanging on one hinge. But the worst of all was the smell of cigarettes in the room. Someone was smoking in the room very recently. I have no idea how this place can be rated as 4 star hotel.

Good location and "good" price comparing to other crazy high prices in Geneva. That's all...
High price, small room and bath room, not working Wi-Fi, furniture from '80ties... Nothing really good here, except good location...

Good location
Grubby room. The furniture was old and damaged, the walls were dirty and the room had a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke.
The air conditioning didn’t work and as the room was so hot we rang reception for someone to come and take a look at the broken air con unit. They said they would come in 10 minutes but no body turned up at all. We had to have the windows open all night but the sound of loud traffic kept up awake all night until about 3:30 in the morning.
To be fair, I would mention one positive - the stall allowed us to have an extra hour late check out

Location was good for the price
Bed felt like it didn't fit the base
8.0 / 10.0
The location was perfect for me as I had appointments near the place des Eaux-Vives and was able to enjoy sitting by the lake in the early morning.
I also liked the atmosphere of the hotel - exceptionally spacious and bright entrance foyer and restful classic decor. The receptionists were friendly and helpful.
My room overlooked an office building and the nearby traffic was quite noisy.

Service.
No Coffee in Room. Expensive Breakfast and Minibar.
4.0 / 10.0
Location. The staff (understaffed) did their best which could not help.
The hotel is shabby. Tiny room. No aircondition. No plagues. Very noisy, both from neighborsing rooms and from outside. Very poor breakfast for too high extra price.
