Channel Vista Guest House

The facilities were wonderful and the location was perfect! Upon arriving, the host welcomed us and set us all up. Breakfast was good and I really liked that they offered a pack out lunch!

What a charming little gem of a guesthouse that is in a very convenient location by the beach. On arrival, Michelle, the owner was there to greet me and showed me around before taking my case up to my room. My room was clean and fresh, and the tv had lots of channels to choose from- even Netflix! I was able to help myself to milk from the fridge downstairs whenever i needed it,and there was also an honesty fridge packed with soft and alcoholic drinks; next to this was a tray with an array of snacks and sweets to choose from if you were peckish. Michelle is an exceptional host who genuinely cares about her customers. She offers a fantastic service, as well as making a delicious breakfast every morning. This is served by her assistant Kiera, who is a little ray of sunshine that puts you in a good mood for the day. Both Michelle and Kiera know alot about the area, and are on hand to give advice or answer any questions about places you might want to visit.They also give ideas of places you can go that they think you might like. Another nice touch is that Michelle offers a packed lunch service, you just let her know what you would like and bosh.... I stayed for a week in the most comfortable bed I've slept in for ages. I had the perfect stay, and would thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking of staying in North Devon. Thanks Michelle, im sure I will come stay again!

Getting up on the last day and putting my suitcase in my car

Michelle and staff are wonderful. Friendly, chatty but true professionals. Our daughter was getting married at a local venue. We had left it too late to book rooms for the weekend so took note of the nearest bnb or hotel and booked in. When we got to the venue i realised id made a mistake. We drove via Google satnav and found ourselves a couple of miles down the road! I neednt have worried.it was perfect for us! Good room size with a proper en-suite. Brilliant breakfast of continental items to take your pick of and a pre-ordered full English. Beautifully clean everywhere!!!

The only..and I mean only comment here is the bed toppers could do with maybe updating. Whilst rhe beds were far from uncomfortable I like a soft mattress so I would have appreciated a better topper. My husband slept like a log!!
