Fabulous staff and location Breakfast was amazing and dinner was fabulous too! We really loved our stay- a really friendly and homely vibe- we’d love to come back.
It’s a little noisy being above the pub at night (and the people in the next door room had a very loud fight- not the hotel’s fault!). Absolutely fine with ear plugs though- I still slept well and I’m a light sleeper so don’t be put off! Just bring some ear plugs if you are noise sensitive.

We enjoyed our stay at The Rising Sun. There was a small issue with our room, but the staff were very helpful and dealt with it quickly which we really appreciated. The food was very good overall, and the location is lovely too

It’s a lovely old pub with several cottages attached right next to the harbour. Stayed there before so bought a night for my daughter and boyfriend as a birthday treat
Paid extra for a sea view room. Questioned hotel about this and was told this room would not be affected and probably no scaffolding by the time of the booking. Sadly the scaffolding was obstructing the sea view quite a lot .
