Absolutely brilliant hotel. Very well run. Attentive staff they couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful breakfast with a great selection. The hotel was spotlessly clean.
The bedrooms were very clean but it was a little small. You could do with more shelves in the bathroom for toiletries but all in all the rooms were beautiful with a comfy bed.

Very comfortable room with good wardrobe and storage space. Very clean and warm during our chilly stay in April.
Dim lighting in the dining room at breakfast time. Dimmed lights in the evening is appropriate but not in the morning when a nice light, bright start is preferable.

I liked the location of the hotel I also found most of the staff to be very helpful and kind. The first night I arrived late and there car park was full however the lovely man on check in helped guide me to a safe place to park my car around the corner. The morning i checked out I had a lovely chat with the lady who was checking me out.
On my first day as I arrived back from a day out visiting a friend I went up to the reception desk to ask about booking for dinner it was full there was no problem with that I did leave it late and was a busy Saturday night so I understand however the male receptionist I didn’t catch his name (he had glasses) was very rude about the fact I had taken my key with me that day. I was never made aware I wasn’t meant to take my key when I explained this to him he said I was lying as he had told me when he checked me in however he was not the same kind man who had checked me in the night before. It is a real shame he was so rude for no reason he did not even apologise after. That is the only disappointing thing about my stay.

Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and chatty.
Room was very small and quite crampeda great deal of noise from banging doors and noise from the lift
