Breakfast Breakfast was good well cooked
Room - Family room with sea view was large light and airy with 2 beds and good sea view
Location was close to amenities beach town and local theatre
Dinner - Reasonable choice, well cooked,
- Meals Breakfast - There were no Mushrooms available at one breakfast.
Dinner I ordered a starter of Pattie with toast. No toast appeared and complaint produced a hot bread roll
My wife ordered a sweet of Eaton Mess which, of course, should have included Meringue as advertised. It did not,
a complaint to the waiter resulted in no explanation.
My wife uses a wheelchair. There is no ramp and everyone must climb 4 steps to get into hotel. Is this legal?
Room - The hotel receives 3 to 4 coachloads of guests a day and they like entertainment at night between 8.30 to 10.45
every night. If you want to go to bed early DO NOT BOOK ROOM 108 or others on first floor at front of hotel as volume of amps is high and made settee vibrate. I would be surprised if paid staff could legally enter these bedrooms without hearing protection under HSE rules during the entertainment especially on Sunday night.
