Reception was welcoming. Bedroom was very small , fortunately able to change to larger one .
Meals all good , adequate choices and very helpful staff. Parking on site appreciated but spaces rather small for larger cars.
We would return . Our thanks to Michael and his staff.

We have stayed in many hotels and B&B’s but this is by far one of the best . From the moment we walked through the doors we were made to feel welcome , micheal welcomed us and was very informative, he told us about places to eat and never pushed his own restaurant on us but we are so glad we booked the restaurant, the food was top class , definitely up there 5 🌟. The breakfast menu was huge, not your standard menu. The hotel is modern , clean and bright . A big thank you to all the staff that made our stay. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back .

On a golfing trip with mates who stayed at other local venues. I hit the jackpot. The Carlton is in a great location, it’s refurbished, it’s very clean, comfortable, the staff were great, excellent breakfast and would definitely go back.
Only downsides were, very hot in the room and parking at venue but plenty of parking up the hill.
