The Olive Branch

We stayed in the ‘large superior room’, which was huge and had a great view - definitely recommended. Very comfortable bed, quiet and large bathroom with whirlpool bath and shower. Jo was a very welcoming host and the breakfast was great - cooked to order (options, including vegetarian, selected the night before) with plenty of cold options too. Location is good, away from the noisiest pubs but <5mins to the harbour or, in the other direction, shops. We’ll definitely stay here next time we’re in ilfracombe (on the way to Lundy).

Nothing to dislike!

A fantastic b and b. No fuss on arrival, a set of keys to our room and one for the front door to come and go as we please. Amazingly clean room, bedding, facilties. Tea and coffee provided. The loveliest breakfast ever!!

A very creaky bed. Comfortable but creaked every time we moved.

The location was perfect for me close to overnight parking and the harbour.

Nothing it was exactly what I wanted

I loved the quirky room on the top floor with a slipper bath actually in the bedroom. The owner /manageress was very friendly and helpful. The location was great for the beach /harbour and town.

I was on a motorcycle tour, so parking was a bit of a problem as there is no dedicated parking for the guest house. However, I was fortunate that a parking space became available close by. There is a paid car park just 100metres or so down the hill. The guest house is situated on a steep hill, which may not suit people with walking difficulties.
