Amanda & Matt were great hosts. They were very knowledgeable about local area and gave great advise on places to visit. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of space. We were lucky enough to upgrade to the king room at last moment due to a cancelation. This change went very smoothly and made easy by Devonshire villa. I must now mention the breakfast. There was a great selection on offer and the pancakes were a favourite for my partner. But we both agreed that the full English was exceptional and a must try.

The welcome from Amanda & Matt was great . The decor throughout the property was opulent. Our room was small but had everything we needed ( including fresh milk and a fridge!) Breakfast was perfect. A great stay. Also lots of little touches like hand milled guest soaps. Parking was on the forecourt.
It didn't affect us, but there wasn't really clothes hanging space as the ( very classy) unit had the beverage tray on. Steps to the front door and throughout would make it inaccessible for wheelchair users.

This is our second time at Devonshire Villas. As always the welcome was 12 out of 10, the room was clean comfortable and every little thing had been thought of. The breakfast offering was also better than perfect!
We cannot faut it and will be back again.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and all freshly cooked to order.
Not the fault of the guest house but it was excessively hot when we stayed, we were on the top floor which probably made it worse
