Ilfracombe Again

Beautiful apartment, clearly recently decorated, Lovely bathroom and outdoor courtyard. Sarah was also a lovely and attentive host.

Someone staying in the apartment next door and the wall feels thin so you were a bit conscious of noise.

Overall, the room was great, clean, modern and had everything we needed.

Unfortunately, due to the location of the property we had a constant noise of seagulls all night as well as an inconsiderate couple next door that arrived back to their room at 01:38am and then decided to chat until 03:00am.

Our Stay at Antidote

Excellent location, close to the harbour, pubs and chip shops. Room was very clean and decorated beautifully. Filled with everything we needed for our stay. Owner was very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had 10/10

Lovely room, close to everything

The bedroom had a Nespresso machine with capsules, and a kettle. Good bedside tables and ample charging sockets. Netflix on the Smart TV a bonus. The bathroom had a lovely sized shower with good water pressure. The terrace was our priority and a private space to be outside was lovely, and fully enclosed. The restaurant, like a lot of Ilfracombe was not open on the nights we stayed, but our host was very helpful with recommendations. The location is superb, close to everything.

Just a couple of minor criticisms, and probably more personal taste than anything. The bed was a little soft, would have preferred a firmer mattress, and the sink in the bathroom looked very modern and pretty, but wasn't very functional.

Perfect rooms in the heart of Ilfracombe

The Antidote has lovely rooms, very clean and spacious. The location is great too very close to the harbour. Don't forget to book in at The Antidote for dinner too, the food is amazing!
