Very good breakfast, cooked to order so nothing was "warmed up", good choice available too. I had the eggs benedict, twice, once with ham and then with bacon, great. Comfortable beds, we slept really well every night. The location of the hotel was about 10 to 15 mins away from the harbour in a quiter location so there was not a lot of traffic noise.
Whilst the hotel met our expectations I have to say that we were very sad to see how negelected Ilfracombe had become, (this was our fourth or fifth visit over the years), so many empty shops, newspaper stuck over the windows, rubbish bins overflowing and litter on the streets, and a general feeling of "no one cares". Its such a shame...
