I had a family room which was spacious and with 2 bath.
Good location but I would rate the property as a 4 star; the lobby and the elevators are dated.

Friendly breakfast staff, Mr. Chocolate 🍫 every night nice and humble, adjustable bedding keeps my back sleep comfy, fast and easy check in and out. Brilliant 😍

The location and the historic value of the property
The air condition issue that even though I understand it has to do with the Swiss regulations and restrictions on A/C, as a tourist in Zurich and a guest at a 5 star hotel of this caliber it is not my problem. With a temperature of 36 degrees outside it is totally unacceptable to have 31 degrees inside the room because the Swiss state controls the a/c operations restricting them to operate only 5 degrees below the outer temperature. The high room rate I pay it (should) provide air condition in the room but in my case not only they didn’t but I wasn’t even provided a fan to at least minimize the problem. Additionally the Hotel should inform the guests before booking that they will face this problem so that it will be my decision to proceed with the booking or not.
