Conveniently located hotel near CentralStation with wonderful staff

Convenient location — about a 5-minute walk from Zurich Hauptbahnhof, very polite and accommodating staff, good internet, a well-sized room, and a comfortable bed

The lifts and most of the common areas — apart from reception — feel quite dated and a bit gloomy. The walls and carpets would really benefit from refurbishment. Overall, it gives off a rather tired, post-industrial feel and isn’t particularly welcoming. The same applies to the room — nothing is fundamentally wrong, but the overall atmosphere feels quite cold and impersonal.

Fantastic location!

Fantastic location, only a couple of minutes from the main train station. The bed was very comfortable however the room was a bit on the small side. Not a major issue as we were out exploring all day. Would definitely recommend!

The location was great

The only negative I have is the shower/bath was very unsafe getting in and out of, so if I wax more elderly it may be a hazard and slip as bath quite high

So conveniently located. And the staff were so helpful—especially regarding parking. Nice restaurant inside too.

Well the parking garage was really tight by American standards. And we rented a small car. But the staff did help guide us into a spot.

Great location if you’re wanting train access. We were provided with an upgrade on the day we checked in. Room was large and beds comfortable and very quiet even though the hotel is situated on a busy corner.

The location here is amazing. Walkable to all the shops and restaurants and literally right across the road from the train station. Modern rooms and cozy bed.

Location and cleanliness. Very comfortable bed and pillows/comforters, feels like home. My room is great, overlooking the river but have to add extra for it. Overall commendable.

I’m short (5 feet tall ) the tub, too high for me and slippery. No bar handle except for the towel holder which is very sturdy though in getting out but I could hardly reach it.Have to call my husband to pick me out so not to slide. Bathroom is nice.

A lovely hotel with friendly staff

Location is very convenient, near the train hub, trams, lake, cafes restos you name it. The staff are friendly and professional. We came from a long trip and arrived early but they managed to provide us with early check. I highly recommend Central Plaza. Take the lake view room and you wont regret 😊

This hotel was very disappointing. I’d avoid it I made the reservation six month in advance and was given a room on the first floor facing the trams It only had a half window When I asked for another room they said it was all booked (standard reply) but never true Had to talk to Management and got what they considered an upgrade but half the size of the first room I would never stay here again. While it’s Family managed I doubt if it’s a real 4 star. More like a 3 star

Lots of things to see and do in Zurich and the Zurich Pass was an excellent way to get around .

The location was very good. It is walking distance from the main railway station, the Old Town, the main shopping strip and the National Museum.

The bathroom. The shower over the bath was a big step and there was no grab rail or non slip mat.Also the bath plug was broken and the water couldn’t escape.

A perfect location, about 3 mins walk from the train station. Don’t be fooled though- this hotel is in a lovely part of town, not some downtown area. Another 3 mins walk and you can be in the hub of Zurich, with beautiful architecture and great bars, restaurants and shops. Although we only stopped for one night, we were made to feel very welcome by the reception staff and they were super helpful with everything. You can even ‘borrow’ their pass to the art museum and get in for half price!

Staff let down by a hotel lacking in modern facilities!

A convenient city centre hotel with a nice bar. Rooms are dated and there is no convenient charging facility for what his now a standard need for mobile phones etc. bathroom very basic. Rooms small and not good value for provlce . Very professional well trained staff. Needs modernised and upgraded! Sorry but it’s a competitive market out there and I wouldn’t advise friends to stay at this hotel

Central to old town as the name suggests with Zurich HB station an easy walk right opposite on the other side of the bridge. Lovely rooms and friendly helpful staff.
