Had a really great stay at FIVE Zurich. The hotel has a cool vibe, super clean and the rooms are very comfortable (bed was perfect after long days out 😄). Staff were friendly and helpful.
Location was also really convenient close to tram/train stations so getting around was easy and also very close to Uetlibergt which was perfect for the morning snow hike.
Loved the overall atmosphere and views as well. Would definitely stay here again next time in Zurich ✌️

They cannot call East Wing a wing because it is literally 150+ meters away from the main building and in between other buildings. For the rest this place is nothing but a party place where couples come to have fun. Definitely NOT a place to stay with children. Staff is nice, rooms are okay (although windows won't open). Won't be coming back there.

I stayed at this hotel during my time in Zürich and had a truly wonderful experience. The service was consistently excellent, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special mention to George and Maria at the reception—they were incredibly professional and friendly. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made my stay smooth and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zürich who values comfort and great service.

I recently stayed at Five Hotel Zurich for 3 nights and, unfortunately, my experience didn’t meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel.
To start on a positive note, all the reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay — that was definitely appreciated.
However, the room (located in the Wasting Building) was disappointing. It wasn’t very clean upon arrival, and the air conditioning didn’t work. On the third night, the room became uncomfortably hot, and I had to request a room change during the night, which was quite inconvenient.
Additionally, the hot water in the shower didn’t work properly, so I had to shower with cold water — another frustrating issue.
Overall, it felt like you get what you pay for, but it’s definitely not up to 5-star standards. A few improvements in maintenance and cleanliness would make a big difference.
