Boutique-style hotel in Zurich old town

This is a boutique-style hotel located centrally in the old town. The rooms were comfy and it was surprisingly quiet given the busy street location. They have a secure luggage storage room, and offer free drinks in a fridge which was really convenient. The breakfast was nice enough.

The reception staff were not very consistent - the hotel had an issue with our room and had to downgrade us and we got mixed messages. The new room was absolutely fine but it would have been easier if they had just refunded the difference rather than issue a voucher and say they'd only refund if we didn't use it (the second person was then not really willing to issue said refund). It was also bit further from the main station than we'd thought from using maps (the station is big so you are potentially 10 mins further away than you think).

My bed frame made lots of noise whenever I moved. The second night of three, there was a lot of noise from the bedroom above, as if the occupants were moving furniture around their room.

Great location for walking in Zurich.

Great location near the Christmas markets and restaurants on the same street as the hotel. Easy, walkable location. Staff were friendly and our room was upgraded. Sad to say we only got to stay one night.

convenient location to be in the city center

The hotel is very nice, with an old traditional style, attractive location just in the city center. The staff was very polite and helpful.

The breakfast is very basic for the level of this hotel. The parking facility is under doubt, because there is no hotel parking slots, the only parking close is Urania public parking where you can park if there is a free place.

We will stay again if we ever come to Zurich.

We only stayed one night but have been to the hotel before so we knew what to expect. The hotel is conveniently placed near the railway station. The room was fine and we had a very nice fondu dinner.

Loved the old town decor and quaint room and location

Close to everything in old town and close to the train station. Loved the artwork throughout the hotel and the Swiss decor. Cute room overlooking the square.

Great location and breakfast!

1. The location is so central. 2. The breakfast was really good. They have a very popular restaurant that serve great lunch and dinner. 3. Free drinks! Bottled mineral water, soft drinks.

The only snag is the cobbled road leading up to the hotel. Almost impossible to drive in front of the hotel to unload luggage if you check at 3pm coz it's so full of pedestrian. There is a drop off area about 50m but if you've big sized bag, be prepared to drag it thru the cobbled road.

Great location! The hotel is on a plaza in the old town. The room was small, especially the bathroom. The staff was efficient and friendly! We stored our luggage after checkout which was helpful.

A comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the centre of Zurich Old Town.

I really like the welcoming feeling of this hotel. The staff seem genuinely pleased to see you and the rooms are very comfortable. There's a real feeling of quality about the place but it avoids the corporate feel that makes most hotels very similar.

I ate in the hotel for the sake of convenience and found the food good though not as delicious as I hoped.

centrally located, very noisy but that was to be expected, about 1.5 hrs i got a call saying that I was moved to another hotel, because another hotel guest could not check out due to flight cancellations, when I told them that this was not my problem but theirs, they found another solution - just thought it was a weird way of handling this, breakfast was bof, and personal not very friendly

Great location, clean room and delicious breakfast!

This hotel was in the best place for traveling about and seeing the sites. The room was small but still roomie and perfect for me traveling alone. The bathroom had a large tub in it with a shower and plenty of space. The window opened, which was great since it was nice outside. The view looked out over some restaurants and a pharmacy. Breakfast was delicious and I was glad I included it with my room. It was fun to see all the people out and about. It felt very safe walking around at night by myself. I would recommend staying here if you’re ever in Zürich. I took the tram from the airport to the hotel and it dropped off very close and was easy to grab from the airport. It was also very reasonably priced. There is a kiosk near where you pick up the tram which is across the street from the airport arrivals pickup area, and you buy a ticket before you get on the tram based on the location where you are going. I looked that up on Apple Maps first. Enjoy Zurich, there is a lot to see and do!

Despite being kept awake most of the night by people outside, this is a.wry nice hotel!

Staff allowed me to check in very early (10am) due to a no show. Having just flown 9 hours, it was nice to have a place immediately.

Great stay in the middle of old Zurich.

Breakfast was good. Location is excellent. Great soundproof windows!!! Perfectly working a/c. Reception were great: both Maya and Anna(Anja). They answered my questions and requests. And suggestions about sightseeing. I was very pleased to stay there.

The location. Very nice atmosphere right in the Zurich old town. The front desk was exceptionally helpful in giving direction and information. Breakfast was excellent.

As with any hotel downtown a busy city, the bars were open till late at night. Mostly when one just arrives from overseas. But I can imagine how difficult it is to get the bars to cooperate. Yes it is very inconsiderate but not sure what the hotel can do about it. But overall we enjoyed the hotel very much!!

Superb location. Good shopping, bars and restaurants nearby. Walking distance to any sightseeing object. Small room, but cute and clean. Very soundproof - there are some bars on the same street and people tend to be noisy but I didn't hear anything once I closed the window.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Zurich!

We celebrated our engagement here, They upgraded our room to a nicer and bigger room , which was amazing! They welcomed us with chocolates , paper hearts on the bed and champagne which was lovely :) Bottles of water/zero coke are free for guests in the guests room . A/C is good (not trivial to Switzerland)

Breakfast variety can be improved (not a single option for eggs rather than hard boiled eggs), selection was sufficent but not enough options to choose from. No coffee machine in the room - only a kettle set - which is still good , but not the standard you get for a good hotel. Overall - high value for money - we highly recommend this hotel :)
