    1. During check in, the owner (we assume) keep on repeating that the price we got via agoda was an error. Too cheap he mentioned. 2. He charged us additional CHF 150 throughout the stay and fail to show us hotel policy what we were charged for. 3. Agoda deducted my card in full payment few days before arrival. He claimed did not received the payment. We showed him the proof via Agoda website and agoda recipt. He did keep denying until his staff told him that our statement was true. 4. We log-in into Agoda and showed him that what he agrued was not mentioned anywhere. 5. Matress was not good at all / old matress. Pillow was also very poor and very thin. 6. Hotel claimed to have aircond in Agoda. No aircond! It was hot. 7. All guest is required to leave the room keys at the front desk everytme going out. Unfortunately, when we reach the hotel, we have to wait 5-10 minute for someone to appear to give the room keys.

    We are somehow satisfied with our stay at Hotel Hirschen. The location was excellent. Our room was adequately equipped and spotlessly clean. We didn't mind the small double bed, but we did mind the soft mattress. We would appreciate an anatomical mattress to enjoy a comfortable sleep. We experienced significant inconvenience regulating the shower water flow. The temperature changed without any intervention! The staff were attentive, and the breakfast included excellent-quality Swiss products. Despite the inconveniences we experienced, we deem that Hotel Hirschen offered good value for money, considering the extreme cost of living in Zurich.

    Charming stay at Hotel Hirschen & Weinschenke! The traditional Swiss-style building adds so much character, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the restaurant served excellent food. Great location and warm atmosphere!
