Sorell Boutique-Hotel Zürichberg

Location is very nice if no work construction in surroundings. Breakfast is good with a lot of choice.

Hotel with such a high price don' t have air condition when outside is 38 degrees. It is unacceptable and surprising. As well for price it was unexpected that work construction was near by and started with noice at 6:00 a.m. As there is no air condition you cannot close the windows/doors.

The hotel is conveniently located around a 5-minute walk from the tram station, followed by approximately a 15-minute tram ride, which makes moving around Zurich quite easy. The view from the restaurant is marvelous, and some rooms offer a truly spectacular view — possibly one of the best views in Zurich. The room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable, which made the stay more relaxing. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection and good quality.

Walking back from the tram station can be tiring because the way back includes a ramp, which may be difficult for some guests. The room with a balcony, specifically room 420, had trees blocking the view, which was disappointing given the expectation of a scenic balcony room. Housekeeping was a bit noisy in the morning, which affected the comfort of the stay. Another issue was that after housekeeping finished cleaning, they often left the windows open. As a result, the room became full of insects. Unfortunately, the hotel did not provide any insect spray or solution to handle this problem. The room also had a very unpleasant smell, which negatively affected the overall experience. Finally, there was no air conditioning. This might be manageable in cooler weather, but it would likely be very uncomfortable during the summer.

Beautiful location overlooking Zurich, surrounded by nature and yet easily accessible by public transport. The architecture of the hotel is unique and gives the property a lot of character. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast offered a good selection and the staff was friendly and professional throughout my stay.

The power outlets in the room switched off when leaving the room, which made it impossible to charge electronic devices during the day.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Shaheen and the young lady that was on duty saturday night,extremely helpful and friendly compared to the other staff.

The staff on duty at breakfast. They are rude and unhelpful especially that lady on duty on Saturday and Sunday morning. We actually skipped breakfast Saturday morning because of her attitude.
