Great location, good breakfast included. Small rooms though

Great location walkable to many sights, shops and the main train station. Tram lines also very convenient. Aldi grocery store next door was handy for snacks and meals to prep in the kitchenette

The room we booked was cramped and dark, overlooking a courtyard so we paid more on site. We were shown 3 rooms and settled on another with a kitchenette on a higher floor and a view of the street. Great bathtub included w separate shower.

We booked a double and single since we were a party of 3 celebrating a birthday. The single was somewhat small, and they upgraded it at no extra cost. They even moved the luggage themselves. Staff was very helpful. A nice birthday surprise awaited us for breakfast.

A weekend in Zurich

The hotel is in an excellent location. The room was very beautiful. The breakfast was very nice with different types of bread and nice jams. They made me a beautiful cappuccino! I had dinner in my room and the food and wine were very good. The hotel is near to several shops and also to the main train station. The staff working at the reception and in the breakfast room were very nice and helpful.

Very good location, clean, nice staff, quiet room, comfy beds, good amenities, clear indications plus a special rate for parking at central Urania Parking which was very helpful

Room size (no need for both a shower and a bath tub), shower cabin leaking due to incomplete insulation, TV would not work in casting mode.

Terrific stay in a wonderful city.

The staff was amazing. So efficient, help and incredibly kind. They were definitely the best part. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Location is convenient to train station and shopping and restaurants.

The only thing I didn’t like was the construction all around the hotel. We had a patio that we never used because of it. Of course this is not the hotel’s fault and is completely out of their control. I was upset about it when I first checked in but once I saw how great the staff was, I wasn’t worried about the construction.

The staff were friendly

The most irritating and guest unfriendly room I have ever encountered. Impossible heating, lighting and television controls. Even the nice reception girl who we asked to help couldn’t get the TV to work. It needed a QR code from our cell phone which we couldn’t provide. We slept with a light on we couldn’t find a way of turning off.

Fabulous hotel

The hotel is located in the old town of Zurich, which is 700m away from the main train station, as well as near by there is a supermarket and a lot of other stores. The rooms are fancy and convenient, upon arrival the hotel provided me with complimentary fruits and a piece of chocolate, which was nice. The staff are polite, and the breakfast is really of good quality. Overall, I am very happy with the stay.

Honestly, not much to improve. Perhaps, it would be nicer if single rooms were slightly bigger, but it is not a big deal.

The location is amazing. I was literally 10 minutes from anywhere I needed to go in the center. Rooms are cozy and the bathroom is big enough to be comfortable, even for a building in the center. I do not know if it was recently renovated, but the building felt well maintained.

It is a four star hotel. So in that logic the expectations were met. Something that could be improved is the service on little details. One day they forgot to replace the water in the room. When I ordered in the phone they forgot to bring one item from the restaurant. When I was calling I had to provide my room number for example. Not automated enough.

Great choice for a city break

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to may sights and very close to a tram stop and the main station. The room was very clean, modern, quiet and comfortable. The fittings were top quality and everything worked. The staff were always helpful, and we were given an early check-in and late check-out which made a big difference given our flight times. We enjoyed the Swiss style buffet breakfast, which offered plenty of choice.

It was very hot when we were in Zurich and the room cooling system struggled to cope, but this problem is caused by city regulations limiting air conditioning in hotels I believe.
