Happy to recommend

Location is easy to reach from the main station; its in the business district so reasonably quiet on a Sunday but restaurants and old town easily in walking distance. They have a 24 hr bar open and really nice lounge areas so you don't feel obliged to stay in the room. We needed some flexibility on check out for our travel plans and they were able to accommodate.

Very minor comment - we had two rooms, one of which was smaller - not small, but the bigger room was nicer

Comfortable, enjoyable but a few tweaks could make it amazing!

Spacious common areas. Very comfortable bed. Quiet room. Fantastic bar staff.

Unfriendly staff at reception. No kettle or coffee facilities in the bedroom. No power socket close to a mirror (for hair straighteners) Only mirror available for drying hair (in the shower room) was steamed up from the shower when it was needed to be used.

Lovely, comfortable hotel in a great location for shopping

The hotel was lovely, when you walked in you would think it's a 4/5 star not a 3 star hotel The bar area is really nice and chilled. The location is good, about a 10min walk to the main shopping areas

The room was nice but basic- this is where the 3 star comes in, it was nice, clean and comfortable but there wasn't even a bottle of water or some glasses and no tea/coffee making facilities which was a shame A bottle of water then cost us 10CHF at the bar that evening to take to the room

a lovely (and friendly) hotel

The reception team were fantastic - very welcoming - even loaning us an umbrella to explore the neighbourhood in the rain The location was a short stroll from the old town and 15 mins walk to Zurich Train station so that was ideal for us. The room was very spacious and warm with a comfy bed and two chairs. We didn't choose the breakfast option as there was a fabulous bakery a short walk away for coffee and croissants We had no noise disturbance at all, very rare these days, no loud footsteps or noise from the rooms next door - very peaceful stay - check outr was simple and efficient also in all, we loved our stay here and would stay again on our next visit to Zurich

it was all great, maybe that there was no coffee facility in the room - this was explained on arrival, not a big deal for us, but useful to know - some hotels compensate by having one in reception area, but not here. Other than that it was fabulous

Excellent stay in Zürich

My stay in Zurich was wonderful thanks to Motel One Zürich. The location is excellent, close to the city center and public transport, yet quiet and relaxing. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with something for every taste. The bar, restaurant and reception staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help. I truly felt welcomed and would definitely stay here again.

I will never go back to this place since my stuff was not safe there.

I forgot to wear my Apple Watch one day and it was stolen from my hotel room. When I tried to locate it from my iPhone, it was showing at a location near the airport. We reported at the front desk but they did not help much and didn’t take any responsibility for it. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel where my stuff in the room was not safe.

It would be nice to have two benches or other furniture in which to place suitcases. I doubt that many couples travel with one suitcase. It would be nice to have kettle and tea.

Can't recommend this hotel

Hotel is in a walkable distance to train station and city centre

Upon arrival the room smelled a bit like fish, open window all night was necessary, but there is a noisy road in front of the hotel - we slept badly all night. The room on the fourth floor had narrow windows, we felt like in a cellar. The room facilities were really simple, breakfast very poor choice and quality of food.

The location was perfect. Very close to the city centre. The bed was very big and very comfortable. Good wifi. Extremely clean. The bar was very good with great atmosphere and drinks. The staff was lovely and helpful. Would definitely return.

Overpriced hotel in an underwhelming Zurich

The room was exceptionally clean, and the beds were very comfortable, making for a restful stay. I also appreciated the well-maintained and modern bathroom, which added to the overall comfort.

While the hotel was clean and generally comfortable, I was disappointed that there was no air conditioning, despite receiving confirmation prior to booking that there would be. Due to the heatwave, we had to keep the windows open, and unfortunately, our “quiet room” faced the car park - at 4am, someone from the hotel arrived with loud music playing for several minutes, which disturbed our sleep. Additionally, there were no coffee or tea-making facilities in the room, which I would expect at this price point. Overall, the experience did not reflect the value typically offered for £180 per night in Western Europe.

Fabulous!

So beautifully designed! The rooms were minimal but functional and I can see that the design would make for ease of cleaning and maintenance. Beds comfortable, so important. Staff were amazing. Bar was fabulous great staff especially Monica. She made our stay even better. Position of property great for everything.

The hotel was lovely, great location and staff were friendly.

The hair dryer was so rubbish it was pointless. And the curtains in our room didn’t close properly. No kettle, tea or coffee facilities. Didn’t even have any water in the room. Very very basic room.

Pleasant yet Pricey

The location was good, the room was nice and big. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were helpful.

I asked someone at the front desk where I could mail a postcards. They gladly took it and told me they would have it go out with the hotel mail. As of today, July 30th the postcard has not arrived. It has been over 3 weeks. The price for the hotel was a significant amount for what was offered over all.
