Boutique & Art Hotel Helvetia felt like the perfect stop in Zurich. Just a short walk from the train station, with easy access to shopping, cafés, and restaurants, the location made exploring effortless.
The hotel absolutely lives up to its name. Art everywhere, full of personality, quirky in the best possible way, and unlike any standard hotel experience. I stayed in one of the attic apartments and honestly did not want to leave my room. It was one of the most unique and memorable hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Looking out over the city at night and seeing the stars from the window felt a little magical.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was spacious, and the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. I was only there for one night, but I easily could have stayed longer. This place has character, charm, and a vibe all its own.

Hotel is in older building so has local charm rather than hotel feel. Located in very easy distance to main train station and shopping. Staff was very nice and property clean and good condition. The walls have a bit of wear and tear but nothing that really impacts your staff. Bed and bathroom very clean. We were there for a short stay but if staying longer the bathroom has no storage or anywhere to put things. Bathroom is spacious but no hooks, stools or cabinets. Enjoyed the location.

Beautiful older building located centrally near shops and a short walk from the old town. Soaps are locally sourced but a little bit watered down during our stays. Triple glazed windows help keep out the noise from the trams and city night life. Rooms were moderately clean but hotel staff could definitely do some more flood mopping.
