Perfect for a night between trains.

Very close to the station, bed really comfortable and excellent Nespresso machine with decaf.

The staff free entry was a bit fiddly. The check in didn’t work in my phone so had to go down the street to another hotel. Not a massive deal.

Sleepover Hotel

The location was good as it is close to the Zurich HB. . The hotel is okay good for tourists who spend all their day outside and only need where to sleep at night.

The room was a bit small and sparsely equipped. Not enough bright lighting or sunlight. There were no basic items provided e.g boiler kettle, iron or refrigerator.

Our room was a little too small for us. My son’s room charging station didn’t work. Great for young couples and young adults. They have larger rooms, just booked

Good option in central Zürich, but shower quickly

The location is perfect, just next to Zürich central train station. The room was comfortable and had a very comfortable bed.

The bathroom left to be desired, since showering even for just a couple of minutes caused the water to overflow through the entire bathroom. The bedroom also had no closet or shelves for clothes, so everything had to stay in our suitcases the entire time. If you check-in later than 9 pm, you must walk around the block to another hotel where they help you with checking in.

Perfect location, just choose rooms facing away from the trains/tram

Everything was great, except the rooms faced the transit system and they trained screeching loudly. We’re quite disturbing. The rooms were warm, so we both had our windows open until we went to sleep, but with the noise of the trains we had to close the windows.

We didn’t like the location, so rooms 48 and 49 are not ideal if you have trouble sleeping due to outside noise

This may be good in winter, but was unbearably hot when I arrived in early August.

Unfortunately my stay was not enjoyable as the air-conditioning system was not working. It was 27.8 degrees when I arrived and almost 29 degrees when I woke in the morning. The staff told me that it was not a normal AC and that every room would have the same temperature - other guests told me theirs was around 24 degrees. This was too hot for me to sleep comfortably and I woke with a migraine. I checked out as soon as I could.

Good hotel

Great hotel. There is a cafe on the first floor. Storage room if you come earlier check in time or later check out. Just 10 minutes to walk to Bahnhofstrasse- the main shopping street and almost the same distance to Lake of Zurich. Room was clean and comfortable. Also just 5 minutes walking from HB.

Great stay, convenient location!

The location of the hotel was really ideal. It is conveniently located about a block from the main train station, by the back entrance, so it's an easy walk with luggage and then easy to get back to the train station to catch a bus or tram or walk anywhere in the city. It is probably a 15 minute walk from the Old Town area. I really liked the room design and access to a coffee machine. The access to the roof terrace was really enjoyable as well; it's a great spot to bring a snack or a drink and relax. The bar on the ground floor is convenient too.

The self check-in process was pretty straightforward, but a little slow since there is only one machine. It would have been great if there were two machines so multiple people could check in at the same time.

It’s a nice property but unbearable heat ruined our stay.

The property was clean and while the room was very small, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice.

The air conditioning may as well not have even existed. We could not get the room below nearly 80°F and barely slept at all

Good location

The location is great as it is a few minutes from the train station and 15-20 minutes walk into the old town. The self-check in process was smooth and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a secure luggage room which we could use free of charge the morning we checked-out. The room itself was small, but functional. The mattress was very comfortable.

The air-conditioning in the room was a problem. This was pre-set to 20 degrees on max fan speed but the room never dropped below 25.5 degrees which made for two very hot and uncomfortable night's sleep. We ended up opening the window but this was very noisy until late into the night due to the proximity to the train station. Whilst the mattress was very comfortable, the pillows were so soft they provided no support and were quite uncomfortable.

Great location but not very comfortable in the heat

Great location. Right next to the Zurich HB train station. Close to a ton of restaurants and bars. Public transport is amazing. Convenient self check in through the Il Baretto hotel downstairs. We had the grand room and the bed was comfortable. Clean room. Very boutique-y and in a good way.

No aircon which is not ideal in 90 degree weather. If you keep the windows open the train noises are very loud. That’s the downside of the location. One of the windows had blinds missing which is strange and an unmissable detail. We asked for a change of towels in the second day, which never came. Overall we expected to be much more comfortable than we were for the price we paid.

Great location. Literally across from the 18th train platform. Lots of lovely bars and cafes on the same street. Beds were comfy and room was spacious.

Breakfast was fine. Location was excellent for catching a train to the airport.

Surprised that there was no bar refrigerator or any way for refreshment other than tap water after a late arrival and check in due to train delays. Also disappointed there was no secure WIFi available.

It was hot when we were there, and the air conditioners could not cool the rooms. We stayed in 2 different rooms on 2 different nights (beginning and end of our trip to Switzerland). In both rooms the AC ran all night but did not cool the room at all. Outside of times when there is a heat wave, this probably isn’t an issue.

Convenient and good enough for a short stay

The location was near the train station which made it convenient, though one can hear screeches from the trains if the window is open. Coffee machine with capsules provided - it was a nice warm welcome. Very small room with slanted roof over the bed - good enough for a short stay but not much place for luggage. The plugpoints in the room look nice and modern, though it was unfortunately not so practical as it takes a while just to plug in a device. Enjoyed the nice assortment of shampoo and soap.

Very good, some small areas for improvement

Location was 11 out of 10. I loved the way the room was decorated.

We had mountain Titlis made of dust under our bed, it was so bad, I would wake up with stuffy nose. The pillows were awful. Inconsistencies when the little coffee bar was filled in - sometimes no stirrers, only one pack of sugar and etc. On 13th of Feb the young blond lady downstairs at the brasserie - I found her rather rude!
