Superb location, friendly staff. Right in front of Zurich Bus Station which is gathering point for all yours, 2 mins walk to Zurich HBF. Lots of restaurants, Migros & other shops. Will definitely stay here again if I come to Zurich. Laundry is expensive. Wish there were some laundromat nearby.

Despite being pricey, i found Fred Hotel Zurich Hauptbahnhof among the best city hotel in Zurich. Best in rooms, staff, & my favorite : the location. Excellent accessibility to public transportation and shopping district and of course, the Old Town. The hotel only needs to improve of their amenities

The location is great. Just a short walk from Zurich HB. Staff is very friendly and told us we can do an online check in and see if the room is ready. She also told us we can sit in the lobby area and help ourselves to the coffee and drinks there. Room was luckily available early and the hotel gladly allowed us to check in. This was much appreciated as we just got there after a long flight. Our Junior Suite Plus is spacious, clean and comfortable for 3 of us with the 3rd person sleeping on the sofa bed which the housekeeping staff assisted to open up and fitted with sheets. Overall a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend.

Do not underestimate Fred Hotel Zürich that easily. You will be warmly welcome by their super-friendly staff like Melanie and Ti (if you arrive late in the evening/night). Both Melanie (from Sweden) and Ti (from Thailand) are passionate in what they do as a receptionist and they have been very helpful and make you feel like home. My wife and I were impressed with the room layout and complimentary servings of coffee, for as long as you want to stay awake! Our kids enjoyed the space and bath tub of course. For me, I like the morning breakfast buffet spread and minimalist feel of this boutique hotel. This hotel property is highly recommended and we will definitely be back to stay at Fred Hotel Zurich.
