    Everything about my stay at ibis Styles Zurich City Center was excellent. The standard double room had everything I needed, and the central location was unbeatable. What really stood out was the warm, professional staff and the kitchen; the food quality and service were exceptional. Highly recommended for business travelers visiting Zurich!

    Location is about 10 minutes walk from the Zurich Train Station, though, a lot of public transportation abounds. Free coffee and tea. There are 2 lifts which are big enough for 4 large suitcases. Checking in was a breeze. Nice clean room with air-conditioning and large enough for a couple. No ref though and toilet was separate from shower room, no issue there. No safety deposit box.

    The ibis Styles Zurich City Center was a decent hotel overall, but it fell a little short of my expectations. We stayed at several four-star hotels throughout Switzerland, and while Le Génépy in Chamonix was also a three-star property, I felt it compared favorably with those four-star hotels. Unfortunately, ibis Styles didn't quite measure up. The accommodations were decent, and the hotel looked stylish, although the pictures made it appear nicer than it was in person. The room could have been cleaner, and I found the unusual mirror above the bed a little creepy. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, I slept well, and the windows were very well insulated. Despite being on a busy street, my street-facing room was surprisingly quiet. The biggest disappointment, however, was the front desk service. The person who checked me in was completely unfriendly. I gave her my name, she handed me the key, and that was it. No welcome, no directions to the room or elevators, no explanation of the facilities, and not even a simple thank-you. First impressions matter, and the check-in experience could definitely use improvement and some customer service training. All in all, I'd consider this a solid three-star hotel with decent accommodations and good sound insulation, but nothing particularly memorable. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I'd rather try another three-star hotel in Zurich next time.
