A perfect quick stop in Zurich

Very well situated, on the side of the train station. Easy self-check-in/out. Good room and good amenities. Very good breakfast as well.

The breakfast room was full, and the only available tables (with high stools) were not very comfortable... Otherwise it was great.

Excellent location. Our room was spotless. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We did appreciate being allowed to our room before 3.00pm.

I would have liked to have a cupboard in the bedroom. Living out of our suitcases made the bedroom a little cramped.

Great location, very easily accessible

No air conditioners in the rooms and it was a very hot night at Zurich. We requested for additional fans but these were not provided either. Compact space with all facilities, but is too small for a family. There are a few stairs to the elevator and hard to carry luggage there

Clean, and convenient!

It said air conditioning but there was a large fan unit. Most of the switches were broken. We could not get it to cool down the room. Fortunately for us, the temps were cooler during the night and we opened the windows for air.

If you open the windows smoke from the small alley permeates your room. Anyone walking up the stairs sounds like a herd of Elephants. Every door that slams vibrates your door. You better know your fellow roommates well because they will hear, see and smell everything you do in the prefab bathroom with the frosted glass panel. There was an upset kid that started screaming at around 10:00 that lasted until 12:30. The neighbor tried to quiet them by physical violence. You could hear every slap, hit and spank through the door. They try to escape their room and the parents would drag them back in. It was disturbing and only made the child wail more. No front desk to call for a noise complaint or to stop the abuse. Worst night I’ve ever stayed anywhere.

There’s a lift to transfer our heavy luggages to the upper floors. Good location and within walking distance to city centre. Always receive by welcoming staff n they are very ready to help us.

Very comfortable stay

When we arrived, our room was not ready yet so they gave us an upgrade to the more expensive Fred Hotel, just next to the guesthouse. I highly appreciate the upgrade! The Fred hotel was very clean and nice. Very convenient as well just a 1min walk to our meetup place for daily tours. the room was very good and big, all facilities working well, very comfortable.

Convenient and Clean

I stayed at this hotel for its excellent location — just a short walk from Zurich HB and the main bus station, which made my travel plans much easier. The hotel operates on a fully self check-in system, which was smooth and straightforward. While there isn’t a reception in guest house, the staff in hotel were still incredibly helpful. I had an issue with delayed luggage, and the team was very kind and responsive, offering assistance and support when I really needed it — which I deeply appreciated. The property is clean, well-maintained, and quiet. One thoughtful touch I loved: a coffee machine available all day with complimentary coffee and tea — perfect after long travel days. Highly recommended for independent travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and helpful service when it matters most.

Centrally located, value for money stay

Loved the location, just right outside the train station and very close to convenience stores, restaurants, including an excellent Thai restaurant nearby. Contactless check in and check out were seamless and room was quite big and comfortable. Small coffee station at the ground level was very nice.

An in-room kettle would've made this a 10/10.

A very pleasant stay and near perfect overall experience; highly recommended

The location is perfect and very near public transportation ( main train station, trams, buses) and with many available food/supermarket locations. The room has ample space which is clean, including comfortable bed. Appreciated the coffee/tea availability 24 hours a day in the ground floor. The breakfast is delicious and complete. Entry/exit to and from the property is conveniently done online. Staff very helpful and responsive to our needs.

Very minor : 1. More pillows ( only one pillow provided per guest ) 2. Toiletries in bathroom limited to two-in-one hair/body shampoo 3. Small elevator ( could accommodate only 3 persons) and sometimes it took time to wait

A wonderful and highly recommended stay

The location was perfect : walking distance for a few minutes to main train station, trams and buses so connectivity to different sites very easy. The building/rooms look new and updated including contactless check-in, entry/exit to and from the room. Breakfast was good although it was served in the sister hotel just a few steps away. The room was spacious and clean with modern decor; bed was comfortable. There was 24-hour coffee/tea available in the ground floor. We came in early spring so climate control in the room was not a problem even with the aircon off.

Not much to complain: would be more comfortable if we were given additional pillows and toiletries.
